I went from don’t stop me now to killer queen to good old fashion lover boy to the show must go on to Innuendo and The March of The Black Queen. My favorite is Innuendo but The March of The Black Queen is very Close.

My problem with them is: they had four [4!] excellent songwriters. And my favorite one changes every time I hear a song.

@@deszmonddewitt9607 Actually, the band never broke up. They took breaks from 1980 to 1986. Roger was the first to have a solo record - and that was in the '70's. He recorded albums as well as doing Queen projects. Brian and John soon followed doing their own solo stuff. Freddie, in 1984, chose to do his first solo record and still remained with the band. When Freddie got sick in 1986, Queen quietly retired from the road and became a studio band until Mercury's death in 1991. There were indeed rumours of a break up in the '80's. Freddie addressed those rumours in the Wembley '86 concerts and called them "stupid" and that Queen was "going to be together until we fucking well... die, I'm sure."

True in a way. Freddie, Brian, and John all had solid #1s Rodger Taylor's biggest hit "Radio Ga Ga" made the top 10 (I think) in the UK and US, but fell short of #1. However it did go #1 in other countries.

His playing his beyond awesome but don't forget that the bass line in this song is the same as the main guitar riff, and Brian wrote all the music in this song including that cool groove. The bass solo in the middle is all John though.
