Very interesting...its such a shame so much of Jamaica's African history are either hidden or lost to the island. However, I'm of the opinion, most of what we believe to be lost, are hidden away in various archives between the UK and Scotland. It is perhaps full time the Jamaican government demand the return of all stolen documents and goods, including all the riches that were pilfered from Jamaica, under the barbarism of the cruel Colonial era.

Spain included. Would love to know more of how Queen Nanny's father got double-crossed during Spanish rule. The Spanish would also have documented the settlement in Blue Mountains and then Accompong in the Cockpit Country.

Love, Honor and Respect to Queen Nanny of Maroon. In fact, when I was a child people called me Morga Nanny. I would cry because I didn't like to be tease like that. It was when they told Nanny was Jamaican Maroon Women Warrior who fought the British for decades to have ownership of the land.

Shalom Israelites!!! Mi Saint Thomas (São Tomé Maroon RU-vid ) breda, di few articles you shared carries deep meaning! Here are variations talking about “so called black people, with many shades” “moreno” or “moor” & then “maroon” came during “spanish inquisition” we Israelites were both here as NEW converts = moreno = crypto Jews= because we had to suppress our “true nature” ) & the elite of our ancestors helped the spanish crown with our destruction as part of the prophecy Deut.28:68 we sailed in slave ships from the “IBERIAN” peninsula 1510, we never stopped fighting and we preferred to be “marooned” in di hills and mountains. Same scenario happen with our ancestors after the spanish, the british went to make war 1619 (trans atlantic) with the remnant of lion of Judah within the mountains of Asanti town in Ghana etc. Hosea 4:6 what your bringing out is very important and I personally benefit, suh wi give thanks breda, we Israelites the BIBLE is our history book but we’re in Christianity & Islam which has caused us to fall from our heritage! Deuteronomy 28:64 kjv (black jacobites)

The thing is that Spain didn't bring Africans from Ghana directly but from the Iberian peninsula. Spain didn't start the Atlantic slave trade it was Portugal then picked up by Britain and the rest

Hail brother and peace to all truth seekers, nothing is really lost as long as her legacy was carried on with her children children’s, and so forth, we have to connect our dots, we for in Ghanaian history they are aware of Queen Nanni, we need to have a forum with the elders and the new school our generation and connect the dots with our true ancestry journey that the only way we will be able to see clear pass all these deception that has been pull over our eyes to this covert day which is why we are the only race of people trying to put the historical truthness of who we really were and who we were intented to be, he oath was change and this is he change we and looking at the throughout time, until we find our true self, this planet or world will continue on this destructive path until we find ourselves and bring all nation back to their truth meaning,. Thanks again brother for the journey continue the good work.

Sekesu was her sister's name. Not sure where this Naquan person story came from. The elders never spoke of him. Swiflomento was her general, not necessarily her husband. She had two known children, a boy and a girl. Some of this story is invented, won't lie, but sounds good. Her name was NOT Rowe. She was the High Priestess of Jamaica spirituality.

Where are you getting these information? Can you publish the sources? Because i'v been searching for Nani and her father in Ghana in the 1600s and I can't find them. I found some Ghanian people in the Caribbean, but they were sent to St John's Island, and that was in c.1720s and it was about 150 of them. They started the rebellion of c.1733 in that place. I don't want you to take this as offense; as i'm just searching for the truth as you are. Peace

3:48 A lot more needed to explain the double-crossing and how more than 600 were subdued and sold into slavery. So, this narrative of how Queen Nanny came to be is plausible but that part of the story of how her father landed in the country need a lot more details to be believable. What's the name of the Spanish merchant that he came to do business with? Where was the business meet up? What business did the Prince come to Jamaica to do? How did the deal go bad? How many men came with the Prince? Were all the men disarmed? Was their a fight? When you say they were sold into slavery, to which plantation owner? Were over 600 men sold to the same plantation owner? (It's almost unbelievable that free men from another country allowed themselves to be subdued by plantation owners). I hope you get my point.
