Parody of the Rose Adagio (Sleeping Beauty), this scene is a masterpiece ! Well, the whole ballet is a freaking masterpiece, and on so many levels, but I like this one part especially. This is how modern ballets should look like ! not their minimalist/the more shocking the better nonsense !
Oh that explains a lot! A couple times I saw vids of the actual Sleeping Beauty Adage and I asked if it was the queen of hearts because it reminded me so much of this! When ppl told me I was wrong I felt kinda like a confused idiot but now I get it 😂 thanks
When she did the upside down figure she looked like a rose, which is very fitting for the red queen, and everytime she lifted her legs high enough it reminded me of this , its gorgeous but also quite interesting.
The tap dancing Mad Hatter was brilliant. The queen of Hearts performing a cartwheel was good, just unexpected. I never thought I'd see this performed as a ballet, and I very much enjoyed this and the music.
brilliant,,,,,,,, they're trying to obey her but she's so vague and sporadic in what she wants that they stumble and run around in fear for their lives while not even knowing that the queen wants. the king trying to set himself up miserably in order to dance with her until he looks at all of the guards to dance with her was SO FUNNY BRO
Zenaida Y. is the Queen of all Red Queens. Cannot imagine anyone else topping her performance. Absolutely brilliant choreography and the performance of it as well. Wishing she had not retired as early as she did. BRAVA!
Absolutely magnificent!!!! Impeccable technique, irresistible sense of humor, honoring Sleeping Beauty, and yet very original, and Bravo on acting! 🙌 🎉 🌹 can’t wait to see the whole performance live!!!

Watching the ballet as a whole, it’s interesting that the Queen of Hearts is the same person as Alice’s overbearing somewhat hysterical mother (as characterized in the ballet)
Увидела исполнение королевы другой артистки и все,даже хореография ,пропало. Этот исполнитель - самое гениальное представление данной роли. Все на грани,но она не была преступлена,в сочетании с фантастическим мастерством,после которого я задумалась :так ли хороши лучшие солистки большого театра? Это холодное,сдержанное,высокомерное выражение лица в покое, то,как исчезает улыбка в повороте тела,как она откусывает пирожное и даже как ковыряется в зубах !

Это балет "Алиса в стране чудес" в исполнении балета Ковент-Гарден, спектакль выше всяких похвал. А Красная Королева это 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 и так до бесконечности. Кстати, это мой самый любимый момент спектакля. ❤💐 из России.
И здесь нашлись "ценители", которые называют балерину мужчиной и не в курсе, что из себя представляет Червонная королева. Зенаида отлично справилась с ролью.

I have watched all the wee separate videos of this ballet and must say the ballet is so imaginative. The Queen of Hearts is superb her performance is amazing and so funny. I have never seen anything like it. Thank you🥰

ah what couldve been. my studio was going to do this ballet and i was given the role of the queen of hearts, but i tore my ACL. i still played the part but it was an acting role more than anything. i really wish i could've danced it

J' ai acheté la vidéo de ce ballet et, franchement, je ne le regrette absolument pas. C' est vraiment une version superbe et inoubliable. J' ai adoré. Je peux bien partager Mon point de vue avec Vous mais je garde la vidéo DVD.
