Matt Berry & Steve Agee uncover the Secrets of the Sound. Does anyone have the time? We need to be somewhere at 9. Out now. Get in there. itunes.com/qotsa Amazon smarturl.it/QOTSAamazon Indie Stores matadorrecords.com/indie/qotsa...
To those who are unaware, Matt Berry also releases his own music. He's put out nine studio albums so far and is an absolutely incredible musician; he plays every instrument aside from the drums on his albums. His most recent, The Blue Elephant, is a literal psych-rock masterpiece. I highly urge you all to check out his work, as it truly deserves so much more love and attention than it currently gets.
Didn't even know people still commented on this video. Saw it when Like Clockwork... Came out. I'll give it a go. If you're still active, thank you very much!
@@4gottencrackaz No problem! Hope you enjoy! If you do, be sure to check out the rest of his discography -- he's dabbled with a wide variety of different genres and knocks it outta the park each time.
I love how they acted sort of jaded towards Matt Berry, but in reality im sure they were honored to have such a comic/musical genius in their midst. Too much genius in this video, and it shows in Desert Sessions Vol. 11/12. Love these boys.
I came expecting to find out how they record their records and instead became confused. Then delightfully entertained. We laughed, we loved, we cried and we all grew as a single human race. That’s magic.
Wasn’t a huge QOTSA fan but I gotta say these videos are SO RAD! Josh is HILARIOUS! Who knew he could hold his own w Berry?! Comedy gold! Another facet to this multi talented band
I love it! These guys are so purposely obtuse with their questions, and Josh is a great sport for playing along so well! This is typically brilliant UK humor, and most Americans won't get it, sorry to say... I seriously can't stop laughing at this stuff! Thanks for the interview, Mike! 8==D LOL!
It's great that John's, I mean Josh's nose has grown back. Matt cut it off in Toast of London by mistake while Toast was romancing Josh's laaaad-ay! Great respect for Josh, back to Kyuss 🎸 👋 ✌️🇬🇧👍🇺🇲
Old equipment has its own soul.... Josh has my sentimentality in being too kind, upcycling and using everything one comes across is a true way of a artist
Amazing, QOTSA have an amazing sense of humour, unlike most bands!! just never take themselves seriously in the media which i think makes them so authentic.
That severed fans ear on the amp recording technique really came across great on the album. That could catch on unlike a tribute to a genius, say a Van Gogh, an Ozzy Osbourne or a Da Vinci.
Nice to see them discuss their tone arsenal and to get an inside look at all the tweaks going on hear? We use Disco dog cleaning at our studio as well but the leopard print rug is genius on the band's part. Troy makes good decisions!
