Oh no so: actual nachos con queso may or may not involve a cheese sauce but if your tostitos brand stadium nachos have a topping, that cheesey sauce IS queso. Queso dip is also in the equation, but a seperate thing. It's a tex-mex kind of fusion item, vs like mission-style MexiCali fusion or like, a Jalisco state specialty. So: there's a regional thing but nacho cheese topping is def supposed to be queso.

They even had the games right, Florida winning first three, Edmonton winning next three, and Florida winning Game 7.

Important thing to note with the Brodeur contract thing is that he didn’t have an agent. There’s a story in his book he tells about his agent and management not being able to come to terms and he went to management and negotiated for himself and when he told agent the agent said he owed him nothing, and he just continued negotiating for himself. Book was from 2005 though so maybe that changed.

Quick update, western areas of North Carolina got hit hard by Hurricane Helene, which was the first storm that has already come through. Milton, which is the storm projected to make landfall in Florida on Thursday, is projected to miss North Carolina, at least that's the latest I have heard as of making this post.
FYI, no such thing as a Category 6 hurricane. Category 5 is anything above 157mph, regardless of how much higher it goes it just stays at Cat 5. Also Sunrise, FL is in a position that it is currently forecasted to get at most tropical storm level winds, not anywhere near what Tampa is expected to get.

Talking about region locking NHL games. I think that social media scroll apps and peoples behaviour over the pandemic shows that people will just consume content when bored. As a casual Leafs fan, if its 730 on a Tuesday and I flip to sportsnet or TSN and the Canucks and Capitals are playing, ill watch that. If the Flyers are in Montreal, I'll watch that. If the Leafs are playing they'll take priority most of the time, but getting rid of region locking will open up teams to different fanbases who just want to watch hockey. My first favorite team was the Sabres (2006 era) because I was able to watch those games

The reason a lot of guys take 8 year deals is that you shouldn't risk what you need for things you want, but don't need. Anything can happen in sports, you could end up hurt or your skills could diminish for whatever reason. Maxising earnings by taking shorter deals is risky, but obviously it ends up working for a lot of guys too.
