I feel like the content of this video is offensive to a number of different ethnicities, old people and animals. Furthermore, I think the effort put into this video should have been put into preparing for a machine learning session instead. I fail to express my disappointment in this creator with words. Henceforth, I will be leaving an angry dislike.
@@AB-cj3mpand then Qui Gon almost becomes confused and bewildered and tries again😭 “credits WILL do fine” and when Watto replies “ you think you’re some kind of Jedi “ it makes it even stranger ahahha
@taylorcortis8364 qui gon was confused because he studied the ability to the point he could use it on a hutt which are usually immune to mind tricks so mind trick not working on Watto is strange
@@Paddington834 It's because there is a predator on their planet that uses the force to lure prey so their species developed resistance to mind tricks.
When I was a kid I always thought the reason Watto was able to resist the mind trick was because he was too greedy to ever give anything away for free.
Because qui gon used the mind trick in front of jar jar, and jar jar doesn't really have enough knowledge to know what the force his, he waves his hand around when arguing because it always worked when qui gon did it, and his dumb luck let's him win the argument.
Jar Jar used a mind trick on Sebulba. Watch the scene again, the hand movement and timing is just too perfect to be a coincidence. Jar Jar is also completely CGI so every movement is intentional.
I think they had the best storyline. The original trilogy is honestly the best place to start the story tho. A new hope, empire and rotj are the perfect movies to spark peoples interest in the star wars universe. The storyline in the originals has the most exciting twists and jaw dropping moments whilst the prequels explore the most interesting parts of the star wars universe. Like the Jedi order, the republic and its politics, the grand army of the republic, the separatists, the Droid army, anakin and his turn to the dark side and so much more. Lucas said that the visuals in the prequels were exactly the way he wanted the originals to be. I think mainly the problem with the prequels is that Lucas created such a divide between the prequel trilogy and original trilogy. One was largely story based with very likable characters on both sides and the other was visually superior with imo a story that could’ve been more drawn out and emphasized. The visuals of the prequels is initially what drew everyone in because the story was already told. We knew obi and anakin would become enemies, we knew about earth sidous and the fall of the Jedi. Basically every big story moment could be predicted. Had the visuals remained the same as the original trilogy I completely believe the prequels would’ve been quite popular but not nearly as loved and hated. There’s many things I’d love to say about this but I think I’ll stop here since the debate on these movies never ends. All I have to say is if you want to make a movie you should copy the Lucas formula for Star Wars. Establish a deeply interesting and jaw dropping story with the best visuals of the time. And then years later return to the universe you’ve created and tell the story leading up to your masterpiece with even better visuals. And then sell all the rights to Disney and watch them destroy what you created. Then while you are rich as hell consider buying the rights back somehow. And if you do get the rights back simply create three more movies. No shows. No spin offs. No anything. Just three movies. Show Disney how it’s done. And then after you give the fans what they’ve been waiting for sell the rights back to Disney for one last bit of triumph. Basically saying: “here I fixed this for you. Have fun breaking it again”
looking at this retroactively quigon using the green lightsaber is pretty fitting as a jedi counslar than him as a jedi knight, uses the force quite often in the film and makes more sense how he would have had a hard time fighting somebody like darth maul.
00:20 I never noticed that one before. I always just thought that the Gungan gods genuinely demanded that they honor Jar Jar's debt to Qui-Gon. So in other words this would mean that Boss Nass didn't have to honor anything.
Mind control is such a weird power for a hero, tbh. When Professor X, Hitoshi Shinso, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon do it, it feels like something a villain would do!... But it is nice to see heroes using the power because outside of genius-level intellect, it is the most common / frequent villain power, let's be honest!
Obi Wan did a better Job than Qui Gon at Mind tricks. Qui Gon was to much of a Rouge Jedi, That is Why Obi Wan had more potential, because Qui Gon was to rebellious.
