📝 Detailed Breakdown:
For this embroidery project, we are working to embroider on the center of the chest. This can be difficult to align properly sometimes, so I choose to use the mighty hoop station to get the center placement correct. I decided to have the mighty hoop at the ‘6’ position in the center of the station. For the stabilizer, I am using two sheets of medium/heavy 3.0 oz cutaway stabilizer. This will give our design plenty of support and will soften up after the first wash for your customer to wear comfortably. Once the bottom hoop and stabilizer are in place on the station, I thread the shirt down to the collar marking ‘C’ and check that the shirt is centered before placing the top hoop in place to lock it down. You can then take the prepared shirt and hoop to be embroidered on the machine. After the machine is complete with the embroidery, simply take the shirt out of the hoop and clean up the stabilizer and threads that remain. I prefer to use a lighter with the threads that stick out but they can be cut as well. If melted with a lighter, be extremely careful as this can be very dangerous. After it is all cleaned up, you final product is ready!
