Cheap Challenger DRL Halo Modification! A quick review and installation of my Opt 7 color changing halos. These are very easy to install and is a cheap way to add some color to your Dodge Challenger DRL.

On the '12 like mine you still have a fuse box in the front but you can't use any of those so you just splice and hook it to your terminal. Hoping that when I switch to my Oracle it will be different because I want to figure out how to tap in to have them turn on when I open my door.

I have a question I’m new to the mopar gang💯 I noticed a lot of challengers have the light bulbs missing in the 2 inner headlights I drive a 2017 SXT plus model and I was wondering can I take mine off as well and will it mess w anything like if water or something gets in it thanks in advance !

You can take it off. There is a cap with 3 tabs you can squeeze to push it out. It wont hurt anything to remove it but it will make your engine bay dirtier. I honestly wouldn’t remove it unless you are planning on installing a hellcat airbox.

I think on the app you can blend colors. The remote won’t let you do that.

So there’s no need to get new led bulbs once these are on? They basically can have the led white light setting and act as better headlights?

These won’t put out enough light to be “better” headlight tbh. These are more so just for accent color

hey great video, if I run them on fuse 12 is there any way to turn them off so I just don’t let it drain my battery while i’m sleeping?

I’ve had my ran from that fuse and my battery as never drained. You should be good.

It looks like your led lights go all the around your headlights. The 12" led strips in the kit doesn't seem long enough to do that.

When it's night time my car has lights that turn on automatically so you can only see it if the car is turned off. Is it safe to leave these lights on when the car is off?

Yeah they use very little power when they are running.

Should be able to unscrew that bolt above the headlight in the engine bay enough to ground it

Hey man question! Can you connect it to an outlet where the lights are only on when the car is on? Also, when you turn your car off for example when you go to sleep do you disconnect the lights?

MegaGamerfreak11 yeah you could wire that way. I haven’t tried to do though. I don’t disconnect the lights when I go to sleep. I just turn it off with the remote.

MegaGamerfreak11 these lights won’t kill your battery. I’ve had them on at car shows for hours without issues. You should be fine no doubt.

I connected power to fuse slot 12 I think. I called it out in the video. I forgot the time stamp on where I said it.

Gotcha. You probably can get the remote from the manufacture of the lights. If they are Bluetooth, you might just need to download the app to your phone.
