16 oz almond butter 2 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 cup of raw honey 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp large grained salt 1 cup dark chocolate chunks Bake for 30 mins in 350F
These are now the only brownies I make! I have so many food sensitivities and feel like I’m missing out on things I love to eat. But these allow me to enjoy a treat that is super gooey and tasty, and not bad for me at all! Thanks so much!
I just made this with home made hazelnut butter and OMG THESE ARE THE BEST BROWNIES EVERRRR. I used 80% dark chococale, organic raw cocoa powder, and organic eggs so overall this is a super healthy recipe even though it literally just tastes like a super delicious fudgy brownie
hey ,if anyone else wants to discover best paleo soup recipes try Ichordo Paleo Meals Fixer (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 got cool success with it.
I am HOOKED for life on these!!! Made them the other day and my boyfriend who is the pickiest eater loved them! His mom took some to work and her friend loved them so much she wanted the recipe. If you have a membership or know someone who does, I found my Almond butter at Sam's Club. The almond butters I found in chain grocery stores had like 5-6+ ingredients. Mine had two, almonds and salt.
Awesome recipe! The 2nd time I cut the recipe in half, but left out the choco bar, added 2 tbsp of melted butter, 1 tbsp of espresso powder and increased the cocoa powder by about 75%. It was insanely delicious! A must try....
Made these for after Easter brunch...What a hit !!! Used raw B grade honey......the flavor was detectable by some family members...a little more than they were used to..but loved them anyways... this is my go to brownie recipe...might try coconut sugar next time...make a thickened syrup with it...thanks Dani...I just bought one of Elaina's books...awesome.
Looks delicious! I will definitely will try this recipe. My mom can not eat gluten, and is always awesome to find this recipes, and added to our menus. Thanks so much for sharing!
I just made these and here is what I have to say: These were so deliciously chewy and you couldn't even taste the almond butter (which I was a little skeptical in the beginning) They're so flavorful and moist as well. Thank you so much for the recipe!
just discovered your channel today ad im so excited! im on a wheat and sugar (and some other things) free diet for three years beacuse of my healt and i FINALLY found a channel that helps me with my diet. i like that you dont fear using eggs because i do too, and you are also very charismatic and i love your voice :D keep up the good work!
Same as the other video for gluten free chocolate chip cookies. I tried that one it was amazing. My husband loves it too. i never knew you could make so many things with almond butter! I will try this too!
i already made these twice in one week. omg my husband loves them LIKE SERIOUSLY! thank you so much!! please make more gluten-free vids. these were AMAZING!!
Ok, first, I messed up by putting it in an 8X8 pan. They rose all the way to the top and then fell in the middle! No worries though. It still cooked very well all the way through, although I had to leave it in the oven for 1 hour. They are very tasty and moist too! The only thing is there's not enough salt (the almond butter didn't have salt in it.) I didn't use that large size salt, but I still think it needs about a half teaspoon more salt if there's none in the almond butter. Anyway it's a great recipe! Only 1 brownie will satisfy you versus the wheat flour/regular sugar brownies that make you want more and more.
I literally came across your channel (7 years later!?) and AM SO HAPPY!!! I am about to start a weight loss journey and am a brownie addict hahaha, can't wait to try these! Thank you so much.
Just wat to write a thank you. I deeply enjoy your passion for cooking/baking clean. I’m inspired with every recipe, I hope you and yours have a great year😁
OH My!! My 9 yr old loves to watch your videos with me and when we saw this recipe, he was totally not with the idea of almond butter, as always, I told him, let's try it just to see. Wow!! You were not lying! You can not taste the almond butter! This recipe is sooooooo delicious! Thank you! I love your channel, ALL your recipes are amazing and truly taste sooo good, btw... the kids LOVED it and since my 9 yr old was the only one that knew it had almond in it, they didn't know any different! So good!
On my way to. Trader Joe's now for almond butter and chocolate!! I'm so excited because I can get so many of these!! I'll be cutting them into even smaller chunks and freezing them for those moments when I need a chocolate fix! Yippee...Thank you!
I just made these brownies this evening and oh my!!! It was so delicious. I'm just starting my healthy eating journey, but my sweet tooth make me question myself sometimes. So I decided to give this a try seeing as it is on the lighter side than a cake from the bakery. Thank you Soo much for being able to share this recipe. I didn't have almond butter but I did use peanut butter and it totally reminded me of the funny bones cakes. 👌🏾🙌🏾
This recipe is brilliant! I subbed the honey with maple syrup, coz I prefer the taste. It creates a chewy brownie that I like, with lesser guilt involved. The whole family loved it!
Dani these are amazing! Just tried them for the first time tonight - I did cut back on the honey and they turned out perfect! The texture and the taste is amazing!! Repeat recipe for sure! Husband loves them too! Thank you for sharing!
Just made this today. Used liquid stevia instead of honey. It works but honey would definitely be more yummy. But gosh the consistency is just like flour made brownies!!! Thanks for the recipe!
I've done this recepie several times. Its A-mazingly delicious! Definitely a keeper. I have to admit however, I don't fold in the chocolate chunks, rather just top them off before I place the mixture into the oven. Dani has a powerful arm there 😂🥰
Ok so I made these babies and they were awesome!! I'm a baker by trade so while I can't say they are the "best brownies" I've ever had, I can honestly say they are the absolute best clean brownies I've ever made or tasted, hands down!! This is a keeper!! Yippee :-)
So happy to have found this channel! These brownies were the BOMB.com! OMG!! Thank you so much. I am binge watching and saving videos by you. My entire family of 6 (minus one with food allergies) LOVED these!
Just made these to bring to work tomorrow. They are really tasty! I only had agave in the house so I used that so they are not as sweet as I would have liked but I will definitely go with the honey next time! Thanks for sharing Dani
Thank you. I just subscribed, too. You do a very good job of explaining things, especially what some folks would consider "obvious". Started using coconut oil, thanks to your explanation of its benefits. One question, though: from my recent readings, agave syrup (nectar) is higher than even high-fructose-corn-syrup in processed fructose. Would maple syrup be a better choice? Or is the jury still out on agave? Thank you. ;)
Wow this is so perfect i bought a jar of smooth almond butter i didnt like (i like chunky lol) so im gonna use it in this recipe! Can i substitute the honey for raw cane sugar? I know its not as healthy but will it change the texture?
One or two drops of lecithin will cause the oil and almond to mix and not separate again. Try this mix equal quantities of water and oil. Mix the living day lights and then leave it to settle. When you come back the oil and water will have separated. Now, with an eye dropper add one or two drops of lecithin and mix again. The lecithin will bind with the oil and water and they will not separate. Lecithin is a natural product. Look it up.
We are going sugarfree n have cut out honey, agave, maple syrup and anything sweet. Such being the case, can the honey or agave be omitted from this recipe or do i substitute it with unsweetened apple sauce? Btw, just so happy to come across your recipe as it is gluten free
Are extra delicious!!!... The almond butter where I live not sell ... so I made it myself :) ... my English is not very good, however I just want to thank you for inspiring me ... kisses
Hi Dani, I absolutely died for this recipe its simply scrumptious! I have a rather strange request though, what is the make of your oven? I really love the features on it!!!! Can't wait to try some more of your recipes!
Just made this recipe. Here's my review: PROS: Requires a few ingredients . CONS: The combination of almond butter and honey makes a very thick taffy like 'dough'. Very difficult to get it out of your blender or cuisinart and hard to spread (as she noted) Honey creates a stiff like texture which can leave the 'dough' dry as it cools. Also hard to clean the blender and utensils due to that texture. SUMMARY: I wouldn't make it again. Much prefer BlackBean Brownies (tons of recipes online and youtube) for texture, taste and ease of baking.
Love your videos and I always print every recipe and try them out!! love the bloopers I always look forward to them at the end of your videos!!! This brownies look insane, I know what I will be trying for Valentine's Day :)
Hi! I made these today, so good, and healthy. I was wondering how to increase the chocolate flavor? More choc chips or a really good choc bar like you recommend? Could taste more chocolate in my opinion ☺️ esp in a brownie! Thanks for your videos!
These look fantastic! Perfect thing to make on a snowy day like today. Sadly, I have a terrible cold and no energy to do anything. Could you do a video on "sick day" soup? :-) thanks, Dani!
Hey Dani, I really enjoy your videos and this Brownie is my favorite recipe! I'm thinking of adding a scoop or two of protein powder to it but I'm afraid that will ruin the texture.. Shall I add some water or milk if I add the protein powder? Thank you in advance!
Ghalyah Al I wish I had a god answer for you but I am not sure! However, if you do plan to experiment a bit and have any luck I would love to hear about your results.
Hey Dani!! I love your videos and i have tried several of your recipes and let me tell yah that they are amazing!!! I am really tempted to try these brownies, only problem is that I live in Italy and its not really easy to find almond Butter here.. what could i substitute it with??
You can actually make your own almond butter really easily! Just take a bunch of almonds and blend them up in a food processor or even a blender and it'll slowly become this thick paste ie almond butter! If you find it too thick you can add maybe 1 teaspoon of oil to 1 cup of almonds gradually and work from there :) remember not to use salted almonds unless you don't mind the salty taste though! This works with all kinds of nuts too so hope this helps! :)
This is my second time making it tastes really good but so filling so no more than a piece 😳😁learned the hard way. Can I please ask if I can freeze them( pumpkin one too) because I can not eat the whole thing alone 😛I mean I wish hhhh
I just wanted to say I really love your videos and I wanted to ask what would be a good substitution for sweetener that may be low on the glycemic index but still clean, I am a diabetic.
