You do have to adjust the coat you use for the glass you are using and the filament you are using. For example with a light diluted coat you cal remove PLA by heating to 40C or less. You only need a single coat for PETG and then you can remove at 50-60C. Two coats for ABS or PP. Once you adjust your coat for your filament you will love it. Also, you can just repost the small areas where it is missing instead of cleaning the whole bed each time. It can be scraped off with a razor blade off glass when cold. Works on metal bed s as well.

I ordered mine after you posted to Twitter. Anxiously waiting for it. Currently my client is printing a 580x700mm print in petg. Lots of heated chamber and hair spray on glass. Works, but lots of heat/electricity over 3 days if printing! Thus,would be a game changer to print that big for that long without heated bed! Cant wait to get mine! May have to record a review!

I bought this product and it does work too well. You still warped the print taking it off the bed. Heating the bed is part of the problem as it makes the print much softer. If you are printing something thin you really need to cut down the glue with Acetone to remove it easier. I warped a lid and a box I had printed trying to remove them from the bed. The lid was fairly thin and had to slide into grooves in the box and was a lot harder to remove from the print bed than shown in this video. You also need the Acetone to completely clean the old glue off print bed or soak the bed in hot water before trying to scrub the glue off (it wasn't easy).

Printing without need to heat the bed would be awesome. But the removal looks tricky. I wonder if it can be used with spring steel sheet.

i heat my bed for pla so the level is different than when its cold. the problem with this is that you have to re level

can i use that with the whambam ? have you tested the Polycarbonate ?

I have only used it on glass so far, so I would check the website and see what they recommend.

Cool video! I hope someone has told you this by now, but your first layer is far too close. Looked so close I don't even think you extruder anything lol. Just a quick obversation. like you style and content :)

Thanks for the feedback and others have said the same thing. The filament is semi-transparent so the first layer looks like it is not laying down, but it is. If the nozzle was too close then the extruder gears would probably be skipping. I know it looks like nothing is laying down because the material is transparent, but there is. It's just a little hard to see.
