This guy really loves hearing his own voice. So many unnecessary things mentioned and drawn out steps. This could have been done in half the time. I found myself skipping a bunch of it. 🥵 Jeezus 🤦♂️
I'm stuck with how I download the item from thingy verse and send it to the slicer I downloaded pursa and my printed is an ender 3 any advice on those stepz but actually showing someone doing it step by step because I'm not understanding it? Not so computer smart 😢
I want to print multi layer, multi color items. An example would be a license plate for kids bike. I want basic color background, want a layer on top with the name and an edge around the perimeter. That would be a 2 color print. If I can do that, I can figure out how to make a 3 & 4 layer object as well. Thanks
I continue to pop error codes directly out of the box. I was able to print the test boat just fine. After two small test prints off of thingiverse, I can't print anything else. I get "nozzle heating not as expected" and "Key:3000 unknown exception" I've had this model for two weeks. It will pass the self tests, but continues to pop the Key:3000 nozzle heating not as expected" This is my first printer and I'm at a loss. The creality website has 4 error codes, and nothing related to this issue. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
I am still a little confused about what I need to get started. I want to create a Zombie Scene on my Lionel Train Layout and thought maybe I could make them. I need them to be about 38mm tall. Is it hard to print something that small but have some detail so I can paint them. I don't have anything, so I would need to get everything and is that expensive?
can you help me plese, my driver print 3D CR-10 andefine me to remove that. can i download driver couse web suport is not available it? or can i ask you for help me give copy your driver print 3D CR 10?
Thank You for your videos. I am in a wheelchair and I am looking to see if I can make an 3D print of my booster box that I set on with my 14" wide cushion on to top that had a drawer in the middle for things. But I worry about if it is possible with me sitting on. I am about 98lbs or less.
Bro, I'm not gonna design a printer...just get to the point, prices and different advantages and disadvantages to prices...what are you going to do explain how laser works?...that's a different video if you're a talker..I want to buy a 3D printer, that's why I'm here..
This video really didn't age well. Either that or it wasn't good to begin with. A steel nozzle is only a good idea if you are using abrasive filaments with stuff embedded in them. Otherwise, they have worse heat transfer which can impact print quality. Do yourself a favor and get a bag of 30 brass nozzles on Temu for $6. If it's worn, clogged, or crashed into the bed, just replace it. Also, don't bother with capricorn snake oil tubing... just get a bi-metal heat break. Only costs a little more, but it's not a wear item and actually fixes the problem. I'm not sure if those smoothers actually work, but I wouldn't use them. The rest isn't bad. Obviously there is new stuff... do klipper firmware with MainSail or Fluidd instead of octoprint so many benefits to klipper. BL touch if you don't have it is great. BTT makes great boards for a decent price. Rails are all the rage now too.
I have an invention that I have created on paper and in my mind and I'm looking to make a prototype using a 3D printer I'm going to watch all of your videos and hopefully learn how to make my prototype in a way that will wow My target investors and manufacturers
I'm applying for a Libra job that requires 3d printer knowledge. This is one of the only videos I have found that actually goes through the logical process. Thank you!
I have tried to print via usb on my SUNLU S8 printer but it will start out good then it will just randomly pause for a few moments then start back up leaving a puddle of filament at that spot. Sometimes it will just stop all together I have tried every setting as far as baud rate and made sure that it was set for the proper speed but no luck. I have tried it with Repetier Host as well as Cura. Tried new USB cables and all but no luck. Will only complete the print via SD card with no problems. Can't find any topics about this problem. What do you think?
Good explanation. But quite useless power consumption to run PC only for printing. This easily doubles the power consumption of the 3D print. Probably better to use Raspberry Pi with OctoPi or similar.
I thought part 1 was good for me as a complete noobie but part two was a little fast and I was lost after the first couple of minutes. Really needs part one and a half ! Rgds
