Great video Ash, a more robust pad is needed but I think you definitely put it through its paces. New tools need testing to the max and hopefully Gardiner watch this and improve the pad . I will get one as it will always come in handy 👍

Thanks. In the U.S. they are always on about this Tucker Alpha scrubber. I think this Gardiner version is the best we have in the UK but it definitely needs a better pad.😃👍🏼

Hope they send plenty of replacement pads with the order, cant believe its falling off like that after one use. handy bit of kit if its secured on properly im sure.

I did try extensively to attach a scrub pad through the middle of a gardiner extreme brush, I took out the middle bristles and used various ways of putting some of the abrasiveness through the center but gave up after a while as I'm no brush engineer and didn't really have all the stuff I needed. The typical WFP brush has never been adequate for most things, sometimes you can scrub away at something for a minute or two and it wont budge, then simply run your finger nail over and it comes off right away. I really like the constructor concept but its way too heavy and rinse bars don't work well here in north wales as they don't rinse away all the cobwebs. We really do need a true hybrid brush that has some kind of microfiber core or similar that can deal with stubborn marks, there is a gap in the market for a great brush that's light and effective.

Pnswindowcleaning I totally see where you are coming from. Those stubborn spots can be frustrating. There needs to be a better solution for sure.😃👍🏼

Great video Ash. I think those fan jets might be the 50 degree ones not the 100 degree. The 100 degree are grey not red.

Ah, yes, you are right. I thought they weren’t spraying very wide. But I think I could have done with turning the flow up a bit more as well. I just didn’t want to use up too much water.😃👍🏼

Looks a good tool. I was thinking might be good for fascias and soffits as nice and slim to get behind gutters. Have you tried Gardiners new jet on a quick-Loq? looks good.

Looks like a good idea for a tool, probably just needs some fiddling with. Personally I’d probably just trad that glass.

Yeah, whatever works best for you. It’s working round the metal fixings on the glass that gets a bit fiddly and annoying.😃👍🏼

@@aemackintosh Hi ash i have found a roll of the green 3m dish washer scrub pad it works really well bought from RS components called green eco roller £5 then delivery on top the width of the roll makes 3 pads just cut holes for jets been using it quite a bit doesnt fall apart. Once its wet it sticks much better

Hi, Pioneer again another good video i let you know i got one of those too and guest what ...??? this pad works like rubber of the motorbikes in the GP stick the wheels on track in this one sticks on the glass I don't know if you take notice about this to avoid any inconvenience otherwise try a white colour pad it works great if is that the case

I didn’t find the pad stuck to the glass at all. With the water it slid nice and easily.😃👍🏼

Great innovation and to be honest the only decent item they've made in my opinion. Have you considered using a shortie pole around 12" to 24" makes life even easier

Take a look at the Reach It Radial Weapon it is exceptional. you have a choice of various pads for different applications and a built in rinse bar with the ability to curve the water over the top of the brush. The new "power pivot" neck is very smooth too. I know it is not cheap but please trust me Ashley they got this brush right.

@@aemackintosh why don't you buy it and try it then? We have 2 radials and 2 radial weapons(one with pads) with a bunch of different pads that absolutely do not fall apart! They are fantastic brushes and would never use anything else. Don't let the cost, or the fact that they don't send you free stuff put you off. Please just buy one and try it. Would love to see you review a radial weapon...

Having used this tool I was a bit worried about the pads coming apart like this, but that’s not happened yet and I’ve used them quite thoroughly, perhaps they’ve tweaked them a bit who knows? 🤷‍♂️

Great idea, pity the quality of the product wasn't very good. Stopped buying from Gardiner for that reason.

@@LecoupderacletteNETBinche Lee Martin at Bladeright can supply most things such as Boss poles (I've been using a Boss carbon pole for the last year and in my opinion is better quality than the Gardiner poles) as well as good advice and great service. Other places like Pure Freedom produce great quality reels.

I like the tool itself. The quality could be better. It’s a shame about the pad. Gardiner definitely has the biggest range of tools. It’s definitely a great resource.😃👍🏼
