Quick update and an Ask Me Anything question request video. Please drop a question below for the upcoming ask me anything video. Have fun with the questions and I will get them answered in the answer video I will be recording in about a week or two. Just as a reminder, I won’t answer them in the comment here (unless you state it is not for the AMA video) but I will record the answer in a video coming up so everyone interested can hear the question and get the answers in one video.
You guys are all awesome and I appreciate all the great comments and questions from everyone. Really enjoying talking to you all in the comments section.

They seem to be nice and thick so it should do a great job protecting a chassis as well, they did not cheap out on them. I thought it was a cool gesture from them.

The run of the Ultima Outlaw will be Wednesday, sadly it was cut short with some issues but I did get out with it. The crawler will be fairly soon as well. The chassis protectors were a cool gift and a useful one as well. I like the way they are celebrating their anniversary this year and giving out things. That is why I had to log out or it was going to become a problem. Honestly there is a lot of stuff I watched just to watch but once I got the parts lot I began to get the other stuff to make the shipping worth it so that is where it can really stack up quickly!

Adam, really enjoy your videos/your work 👍. A perfect mix of wrenching and reviewing. I just cracked open my pit box from the ‘80’s full of motors and batteries and pan-car parts -n- tools. Question is: why is nobody rebuilding these RC10l’s/RC12l’s? The current equipment has gotta make these setups scream; I can’t wait to dig into my stash. AND, my gold tub RC10 is in the pile somewhere 😳 40 years? Has it really been that long, ack!

Nice update Addam, I feel the same way about buyee the rabbit hole is real. I blame Keith, haha.. I budgeted 2 to 3 orders a year and I did the same thing had to stop going to the site completely to prevent that watch list... Thanks again c ya in the comments. Oh wait ask me anything question.. I would love to stay on there all the time and hunt down stuff but it adds up quickly and I am not the best with self control and I spend a lot of money "saving money" on deals!! LOL!! I will go back from time to time when I either need something I cannot find or after a month or two but I cannot leave myself logged in or things will get purchased on the regular! I don't think I'll manage to do any questions this time around either, I am so behind with watching videos and doing my own, it's weird to be so busy with the hobby, it's almost like it's a job, ha ha! I am doing much better, things have slowed down some and I don't feel like I am running on the ragged edge all the time! No worries on the question, if you think of one of course come back and drop one but otherwise don't worry about it. The hobby along with YT can get to be a full time thing itself and it can get to the point where you are never stopping. When you feel that way you have to pump the breaks on something and take some time to unwind or you get burned out and grumpy about all of it! Take care my friend and have a wonderful weekend!

Yes, the chassis protectors are pretty nice and it was cool to get a functional gift from them. I got a free t-shirt from the while ago with one of my orders too. Thanks, I appreciate it! I have level out some of their backyard and it would take the two of us days to move all the dirt around or a few hours doing it with the tractor! Much easier with the tractor and I am allergic to shovels at my age... they make me sweat, breathe hard, my heart races and I get very grumpy when I have to use them LOL!!! One of these days I will do one. I will try and find a good time for me and you all as well. It is tricky with folks all over the world! That and I have to get a better setup down in my basement to do it. I just have my very old laptop down there now for watching DVDs! LOL1 I need to get a setup more conducive to doing a live. Happy Independence day🎇🇺🇸🎆🗽 Q. What is the best white paint for doing the lettering on tires. Is there any rubber prep or other tips. And how to have it not all bloopy. I've tried Tamiya white flat latex which dries decent. But don't last long. I scrubbed the sidewalls well but it got cracky and flaked off quickly. On my Stampede I resorted to a white bar vertically just to see wheel spin. The polycarbonate paint in a can applied with a brush worked a little longer. But its way harder to do as it dries to fast and gets chunky.

Well done Addam you locked up the Buyee boggy man dude!👍Well for now! My questions are what's your secret pleasure in music/bands??? I bet you were worried reading the start of that question lol. My next question when running RCs what do you enjoy more for fun running...friction shocks or oil shocks??? Its actually quite a difficult question to answer when you think about all the different cars out there with fun performances some with oil shocks, some with friction shocks! Obviously serious track racing its oil shocks all the way....but general fun running??? Cheers pal.

For now the Buyee bargains are going to have to wait for a month or so as I know the FAV is coming up, The new Kyosho Dirt Cross buggy and the Optima Pro will all be ones I would like to get. You are going to love the Clod! everything but snapping the links on a few things go very easily. Tip: do not forget the small nut you have to insert into the gear cases before closing them up!! I have done it on everyone i have built so far, it is easy to miss! I will definitely get your question answered in the video!!

Yeah the chassis protector was a cool gift and they seem to be very good quality as well. The did not cheap out on them, it is the same sheets as their regular line of chassis skins. I will get you question answered in the upcoming video for sure. Take care Jeremy and have a great weekend as well!

What do you prefer to buy and use, lots of cheaper tamiya kits every so often or do you prefer to save for the more expensive tamiya kits and just buy few and far between 😊 hope that makes sense 😄 i often think i can get nearly 3 cheaper kits for the price of an expensive top end kit And still have the same fun running them

Hey Addam, that was a shorty 😂😊😂 hmmm? Ask Addam anything…I suppose it would be a time management style question…not sure that you know, but I’ve taken a work promotion, to try and get as much experience as possible, before the company I work for, finally closes the personal lines insurance services, that it’s provided to UK customers for the last 300years 😢, leaving me potentially, redundant. However, this additional promotion, along with personal lifestyle, you know…chores, house maintenance, being a husband etc…these have seriously impacted my time available to RU-vid, projects and so on…I suppose what I’m asking is, with your day job, personal life and all the projects that you have…how to do get / make the time to do some much ? This is a very expensive hobby, and we all need the funds to support what we love to do, I just don’t seem to have enough hours in the day? Anyway, take care and the very best wishes to you and the family 😊😊🖐️🖐️

@@JF-RC first, I am sorry to hear your company is going through changes and things may end there for you. I am sure.you will find something else and maybe it will be a good change. It is always uncomfortable and uneasy going from the know to the unknown but in my experience it leads to a better place. As for the rest of it, I will answer that in the video. Any plans on getting another solid axle monster truck like a HPI Wheely King, Losi mini LMT or full size Losi LMT, Kyosho Twin force or currently Kyosho USA-1, Cen racing HL150, MST mtx-1, etc... Don't know if you still have the Axial SMT here, but might be worth putting a sensored brushless kit into that truck for a bit more speed out of it.

@@AddamsPlayground Btw i lost a c-clip for the diff outdrive working on the front gearbox on the boomerang just now, was for a bit trying too pull the outdrive directly and struggling until i popped off one gear from the inside, thought it was fit in like the TL01 outdrives which dont have c-clips at all, nothing is cracked by the looks of things though. It bounced straight up on my chin & vanished. I've crawled around for like 8 minutes on the floor with my phone looking for it. Would you say it's ok too just put it together anyway or should i order and hopefully have c-clips by the end of July as a lot of stuff is apparently on back order ? Or hopefully i can find a store that sells generic c-clips in that size, dunno what size they are though i don't think it's mentioned in the manual I'm using.

@@Mini-z1994 They can be very elusive when they go flying off like that. I would not run it without the e-clip on there as it can move around too much and damage the diff gears. I found these on Amazon, one of the two larger sizes should fit. It should be a 4mm clip. There are 3 main sizes in across 95% of their kits. Here is my Amazon link to them amzn.to/3VF9Rx4 Keep looking as a lot of time coming back after a little while will help you find it! Best of luck in the hunt!

G'day Addam, So sorry for our delayed comment mate, we both watched your video and we're excited about your ask me anything, Ingrid did think of a question the other day but forgot so hopefully it will come back to her lol. If you were asked by Tamiya for two vehicles you'd like them to design and release what would they be, they can be absolutely anything you can dream up. A personal kind of question...We see that in the US BBQ'ing ribs, smoking meat etc seems to be a big thing, do you do this yourself or do you save the trouble and eat out. Ingrid and I have a go at slow cooking ribs and are slowly getting better....we think lol. We hope your tractor work was fun for you😁👧. Thanks Addam👍🦘🇦🇺

Hey there guys! Now worries, get to them when you can! I love the questions and will definitely get them answered in the upcoming video! Ribs are kind of tricky, I have not mastered them yet either! LOL! The tractor work went really well and it saved them a ton of digging by hand and it went really quick so it worked out great! What is your opinion on AE in regards to the recent rere. Are there too many made or too little? Build them or drive or leave in the box? In Australia when the rc10 hit ebay 4 units sold in under 5 minutes. The rc10T hit ebay yesterday sold 6 units. It took 20 hours. Not as popular it seems. I personally happy they have released these cars as my experience with restorations is rewarding but very expensive.

Want to ask you a question. What do you think about Team associated selling rerelease one after another? Overwhelming for me with the amount of rereleases coming out with. We need time to save the money but AE keeps pumping kits out. YZ-10 is coming out and we just got the 10T and the 40th/CC? I'm way too deep into my vintage AE collection and can't afford to miss out and pay the Ebay mark up. I wish Team Associated can wait till mid fall for the other re releases coming out. Your thoughts?

Hi, my question if you don't mind is... has your interest in thr hobby changed since you started making videos? Clearly this is something you have been into for years but does the need to do soemthing take the edge off your enjoyment of building models? I have found as much as i can like doing something, once it becomes something more than a hobby, i quickly lose interest.
