I really like the texture of the dew drop - not too shiny, very natural finish, you look so fresh. I’ll have to try that one after I use up a few others
Ty so much for the comparison footage!! I know that’s very time-consuming, but it is uniquely valuable and I’ve never seen anyone else do it, certainly not to this extent!!
I consider the Danessa Myricks skin tint a true medium coverage foundation, too. Still looking for something to fill the gap between it and the Glossier skin tint. The Lisa Eldridge is okay, just requires me to use a lot of skin prep beforehand or I feel chalky (i.e., dry). Kosas BB Burst is so close ...
I don’t get the hype about the Prada foundation packaging fr I can’t speak to how it feels in the hands but I think my $5.50 Believe Beauty foundation looks way more luxurious 😅
Loved the side-by-sides. Thanks for all your work to put those edits in! I also have shade 1 of the yummy skin, wonder if I’d like it more if it weren’t too late for me, and am disappointed it’s higher coverage than I’d want.
I wouldn't mind the comparison footage being its own unlisted video, but I also don't mind it in the original video, either! Whatever is best/easiest/most pleasing to you, honestly. (That said, if there are comparisons that feel ESPECIALLY relevant, I think those should be in the main video itself!)
I think that's what will be the solution. I'll put the ones I find most relevant in the video and then the extended cut where you can see it versus everything will be in an unlisted vid!
Love this concept! So grateful for all the effort in comparing everything on your face. This is such a good idea to help us (and you) remember how you felt about past foundations.
Not Tom out here showing us their beautiful face over and over. I was mesmerized - have to say that the Danyssa Mirycks Yummy skin and the Lisa Eldridge left me with the jaw dropped. They look so great on you. Imperceptible but something glowing from within. (pardon all misspellings)
I have been wanting a medium coverage foundation for days where my Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint (T1) isn’t enough, but my Estée Lauder Double Wear (Shell) is too much. Any recommendations from the group? I’m mature, combo/oily skin. TIA!
I commented on IG, but I have the same skin type. Rare Beauty foundation works best for me. It still breaks a bit on my nose, but there's almost nothing that doesn't. I'm also old school and can't live without my MAC powder foundation (nw10).
@@AndrayaK119 ooooh! Great recommendations, especially the powder. I’d given up on thinking a powder could work for me, but maybe if it works for you…. 😁
OMG!! Yess! The UD Face Bond needs optimal skin prep and it can be beautiful but why do I have to be a full on chemist when putting on my foundation to get it to look like it is supposed to. It drives me 🍌🍌🍌
Right?! Sometimes it’s like the best thing ever and other times it’s like “how could this be the same thing that I put on and looked amazing yesterday?”
I do not know how I feel about the footage. I think it’s extremely useful and valuable comparison. But I think it may be worth it to do the review round up more often, so the runtime on the B roll isn’t 3:00.
