Since I started quilting 20 years ago my fabric, books and notions have overrun every single room of my house. Add the threads and pins that seem to be breeding in every corner of the house and I might as well forget about a tidy and clean house! Sometimes I am bought to the verge of desperation over how much stuff I have, and my stash would rival the contents of a quilt shop. I am nearly 65 and there is NO away I will ever use all my existing fabrics, let alone the fabric I keep buying because I absolutely must have it as I am in love 🤪
My style is “ Early Attic” ! A conglomerate of all my treasures. But as I am a fairly new quilter, not too many of those around, although I have been doing garment sewing for over sixty years. Love your videos and your quilt patterns. I have all your books and have made many of them. Thanks !😊
My style is somewhere between Victorian era and nature 😂🤣 Love soft florals with sage green leaves in a flowy design. Loved the video ladies❣️ Keep em coming🥰👀
This is a brilliant idea for a series! The quilt for each room is perfect. With unlimited time and money I would make almost all of the kits instead of just one a month. Thanks for the inspiration.💕
Vintage Soul! It was my early life! As always....you speak to me! So happy I was able to get some of the new patterns at Festival!!!! I can't wait to get busy after the holidays!
Hi Jennifer! Yes we have tried to clean up our language a bit and have chosen to just mention the name of the quilt kit instead of our inhouse product sku. You can use the name to search or find on our website the same way you would if you used the number. Hope that helps!
Fun, fun, fun. I've learned so much from your videos. Amd wondering if you can do more fabric selections and examples of *Landslide,* I think you might have featured it about three times (so far that I can find). I love that pattern and would love to see more of your fabric selections to show it in various slants (wouldn't it be fun to just feature that pattern with about six or seven different fabric combinations)!? I know I would love it!
Bitty bungalow is calling me and peach isn't that high on my favorite color list! Looks nice and cozy 😊. Watercolor is beautiful and elegant🧐 too. I would "toss" the bitty b. on the bed and "fold" the watercolor.
Hello Donna and Fran great video today. I liked all of the quilt choices along with corresponding fabric kits. I like seeing the different rooms and how, you offered kits and patterns to coordinate in each room. I agree with the other viewers I think Fran or Donna needs to present a new series. Called corresponding quilts for every room. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos as usual.
My style is also total clutter! And I love Fran’s advice that if you like it , it will fit in. My basic style is Victorian and vintage. Everything I love is on display. If I buy something new I just add it to the mix. Rarely get rid of anything. I have many antiques both purchased and passed down from my great grandmother, grandmother and parents. My house is a minimalist’s nightmare! Hahaha!
Great idea for restyling in 2024! Loved the choices Hannah made for your room photos ❤. So happy to see the # 2 & # 3 fabrics have some action in them...I understand contrast and the need for a place for eyes to rest as it takes in a design, but I have found in my 35+ years of making quilts that many designs truly come to life when there is more interesting things for your eye to look at 🥰. Great video, you two ladies❤
Happiness Blooms would look perfect in my traditional styled home! We have warm greens and tans in our home. Thanks for the fun video and just so you know, I spotted the little Elf in the Christmas tree!🎄
Love the quilt kits! So pretty in the images!! I lived through the “flower power” years but my favorites are Thimbleberries and Kansas Troubles. Will definitely look at t-shirt shop!!
What a great way to showcase the wonderful 3 yard quilts. My style is university dorm and my home is happy. I am curious about what the pieces and parts for the Elation quilt would look like.
Vintage Soul is the clear favourite for me as I like bright, jewel colours. Bold Bouquet is second, again because of the colours. Not sure about the Dash pattern though it looks great in these fabrics. An interesting way to present these fabrics and patterns 😊
Excellent series! Please repeat this once a month! I think a lot of people would benefit both in their own homes and in gift giving ideas. Please continue to show what the whole quilt looks like using the new fabrics! Job well done!
I love watching your videos when both Fran and Donna are on. I love all the quilts you shown today. Matching quilts to room decor is awesome. Keep up the great work ladies. Happy Holidays!
I love the water color Garden Fabric. But was sad to see that it has already sold out. Will you be getting more of that fabric? I love the how the blue fabrics all blend together!!
Marlene, yes, it was beautiful and unfortunately sold out quickly 😥 We may not get the exact fabric back in stock, but we are always trying to get in more fabric that is similar to favorites everyone loves 🥰
Yes, so sorry! We only had a few of that fabric combination. All of our quilt kits will work with that pattern however. So even though that one is gone, maybe there is another you would like. 😊
