Spectacular vocals from Chaka as usual. She can sing anything. Been a fan ever since I first heard her sing with Rufus. I was a child but I recognized that raw talent when I first heard her sing. She is Legendary and an American Treasure ❤️.

I thought Mick really stole the show on this for me, his pitch and delivery was 💯. I just love how Quincy always surrounded himself & the artist with such talent, he never saw color. A lot of people in the music business could learn a lot from this today with this cancel culture.

At 3:46; when Chaka Khan takes the mic, I've never heard her sing in the French language. She always performs outside of 'the box'. Call her the 'Queen of Funk' if you want to, but she is so much more than that. The first time I remember her singing something other than funk was 'Higher Love' by Steve Winwood. And, ever since then she has continued to amaze me.

I've always loved this performance which actually brought me to tears because I thought since I've been hanging around so long I had seen you sing everything from Stuff Like That, Gospel, Echos Of Era, with some selections live at The Beacon, Auld Lang Syne for New Years at The Beacon, then a few My Funny Valentine lyrics to your Mom in the audience, The Lady Is A Tramp for a sitcom to speaking German to Don Cornelius, now singing in French is was so emotional to see you still broadening your skills. You and your regal quasi trademark Pompadour hairstyle, such a radiant fire (LaFlamme) .

Yes, the beautiful voice, amazing, music can stand ones hairs up, the performance by Susan Boyle on British Talent, one can't say, that didn't didn't shock the world, not only joy for her win, but so deserving to an individual with the voice of an Angel, there is always a surprise with music. One can be dancing in the kitchen, listening to a song full of memories on a Saturday morning and by lunch time, you've met the love of your life and 20 years later, your dancing in that same kitchen together, listening to the same song that brought us together, Everything Must Change, it sure does , but the music is here forever and what a joy it is.
