My Thrill was gone Until I heard Quinn & Buddy Guy perform at the Elk Creek Winery!. They were there 6-13-09 on Sat nite!! Their concert was Overwhelmingly, Unbelievably Amazing!! That lil Young thang had me Singing, Dancing Clapping my Hands & Stomping my feet . Whu Hu for Quinn. Honnie, the Thrill is Back!!!

This kid is the future. My little brother started playing the bass when he was 8 and now he is 19 playing for churches and groups here in Georgia. I couldn't believe my baby brother could play the bass and nobody taught him. He asked for a bass on his 8th birthday and taught himself how to play.
10 yrs after this, and yes, he has become what we knew he would after watching this. He is amazing, and I got my tickets for his show on the 28th of this month in Buffalo NY. Been following his progress since I 1st stumbled across him about 8 yrs ago. Amazing talent. A true natural. I remember watching a 12 yr old kid playing in a blues bar named Cheers in Ft Lauderdale years ago. I thought he was amazing, and he was, but not in the same league as Quinn. That other kid, was Derek Trucks. He has grown into a great guitarist as well, but still..Quinn rules!
While sounding like a young Michael Jackson, vocally, and showing more poise and dexterity than B.B. King ever could, this kid is destined to be the next big thing.
This boy is awesome. I'm a fifth-generation musician - my dad was a Vaudeville star, and his dad played 1st Trumpet with Sousa - I've been around talent all my life. Take it from me, this kid is the real deal. I hope his parents continue to nurture his talent, keep him practicing and keep him grounded. He will go far.
The kid is cute! I love how he tossed his hair, flicked his hip and smiled as he was actually having fun. All children have to have some music in their life. It helps them learn analytics and socialization. They don't have to make it a life long commitment. But they should be given the opportunity.
Oh what goodness this child brings. On his web page he said that he wanted to be on Americon Idol. Quinn honey, you're way beyond that. Just keep happy and enjoy your life and music. You are the next Rolling Stone, Beetle, whatever you want to be. You Are.
first child guitarist i ever heard play on youtube a couple of years ago. love the sound of his guitar and his use of the distortion pedal. and so skilfully played. also just love the accent on that tv host guy and his smooth comments.
i got to say he is good now and i can only wait and watch him as he fills our ears with his joyful muisc in the years to come, keep up the good work and i know you got me as a fan, 4-ever, got to love this kid
If he's this good at 8, he'll be so lights out at age 10, forget the teens and adulthood. ....he just made those age groups null and void with his playing.

I couldn’t ever wish this young man any grief or pain but how can a kid that never felt pain , or lost love ever seriously contribute to this song and it’s message , it’s terrific his technical perfect version but the soul I don’t see i nor feel it maybe I’m wrong
This kid is amazing. He started to play guitar and sang when he's just 6 years old. I think he plays and sing better now. he will be guitar hero someday.

Saw this l'il guy at Bluesfest last nite - OMG! - kudos to Buddy Guy (the master) for nurturing this amazing talent - WOW! It's hard to BELIEVE the blues from a 12-year-old - but make no mistake - this kids got SOUL baby! The thrill is gone???! Just wait kid!!!

Even at 8 years old he was a B.B. (Blues Boy) natural born. Mama Sullivan announced to the world " he is born..hand him that baby Strat now!" ! Even B.B. King never started playing that early in life.
He has amazing timing and talent, oh and he is an amazing blues player, you can tell he really feels the blues, he has so much ahead of him, respect and praise for him 😎👌

Here's what I don't get. Many people on the comments toot their own horns and say oh I can do that just as well, or better, and I'm not on tv, blah blah bullshit blah. Yet how old are those people? 20? 30? 40+? This kid in this video is 8. Considering boys usually develop a little later than girls, he's had what, 4 years, tops, to really pick up what talent he has? So stop being jealous that he gets some shine for this. If you want it, go earn it, and stop bitching.
