Skypiea is pretty long but it’s really good I enjoyed it. After this there is a good filler arc called g-8(196-206-it’s really funny in my opinion). At episode 207 the animation gets HD.

I think the reason why luffy doesn’t fight back here is because he understands that it would be pointless to fight back because the disagreement is about dreams and luffy is a dreamer who believes 100% he will accomplish his goal where as Bellamy believe’s that the one piece and sky island doesn’t exist and that it is a foolish idea, so instead of just beating up Bellamy I think luffy wants to prove these things exist by actually accomplishing his dream and goals and finding the one piece which would automatically prove Bellamy wrong and he would win the “fight” or disagreement not with his fists but by his actions in that way also luffy learned from shanks to be the bigger person when he is threatened or injured by weak pirates showing they are not even worth luffy’s time to fight, unless Bellamy threatens or hurts someone luffy cares about. Luffy is unfazed by what happens to himself and take hits from Bellamy no problem and also he knows zoro can handle himself and as captain he is making this decision and zoro completely understands why luffy is making this decision and shows full loyalty to him

Fun fact (no spoilers): In the manga, Bellamy stabs Roshio's hand on the table and shoots him in the knee. Bellamy then breaks a sake bottle on his head, dousing him with alcohol. (You can search for this image online if u want). His crewmate joins in and throws a lit match on Roshio, setting him ablaze. He then gets kicked out of the window by them. The anime had to censor this for obvious reasons. Instead, Bellamy grabbed Roshio's wrist and twisted it.

Hey I wanna say. Stick to One Piece and do not just try to rush to catch up with the Anime/Manga. Every arc, boring or amazing will have DEEP flashbacks, new friends or old friends coming back expanding the world. I am not caught. I am in episode 751 and I trully feel this way. Some parts are more boring than others but the show is amazing and some arcs as just GODLYYY.
