I just purchased this unit, some of the amp models are very impressive. I like the 900 and ENGL the most. One thing that should be pointed out about this pedal that it will ONLY save ONE clean and ONE dirty preset form ONE particular amp model. It will NOT allow you to save a preset from each amp model. So if you save a 900 preset on B, then go to ENGL and save a preset on B, the 900 preset is overwritten by the ENGL one. One preset for each A and B buttons, no saved presets for every amp model.
JOYO is doing something incredible here. Versatile modern to current times all-in-one preamp monster which is affordable and very interesting to start working with... Add a simple equalizer pedal to ramp up tonality and off you go... Always prefer a used/2nd hand first but might even go for new one if possible for my budget.
I've been looking for this exact product for years. The AMT V1 preamp came really close, but that's just 1 type of preamp, this is perfect! Just want to know if the preamp is analog or digital? I plan on using drive pedals in front.

Hi, can you help me understand what the power requirement is for the Joyo Preamp House? I want to use with my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power, but the manual states that the Rated Current Consumption is 300mA+. Thanks so much!
Pretty good pedal so far. Played a live show with it and was very impressed. I either need an overdrive or an EQ to have maybe one more flavor of sound but the clean and dirt on most of the presets are great. Would love if the distortion was more like an on off but it's liveable.
I would like to see one with a simple reverb added. I always look for that ;-) pedalboard-ampsim w. reverb - FOH Love option of non-cabsim on the jack out - Kudos!
It will not sound good if sent directly into the amp input because then you will have TWO preamps added together. Going into the return bypasses the amps preamp.
I´ve just order this preamp on amazon. Does somebody know if it includes some type of Reverb? If i will use a Reverb pedal, should I place it in the FX loop?
Does this mean you can save a clean channel using the method you showed for the A switch? How about the distortion channel how do hou save the settings?
Save the distortion channel on B Switch, just add extra overdrive for solo or boost before this. On fx loop's send and return you can connect our modulations like for example Zoom ms70cdr

You'd have to connect something for recording, from the looks of it. I use a DI for my recording, and use an amp sim program in my DAW, but I'm considering this as a replacement. Using the XLR out with ground lift, you should be able to run this straight into an audio interface and be able to record with even a free program like Audacity if you needed. The USB input is probably just for firmware updates. The reason they show using the output to a mixer is because using this in a live setting wouldn't require an amp, so you can plug straight into the PA system. Definitely a good back up, too, because nothing kills a show like a blown amp.
Well I guess that since it can be connected to computer directly with USB cable, you can use it for recording without interface. As shown at 2:25 I'm not 100% sure about that, because I haven't bough one yet but planning on it.
@@canaldepraticadejesus6600 usb is only for firmware updates. Just connect the device to an audio interface, like a Focusrite Scarlet. You can use the internal cab sim, a cab sim simulator (like Mooer Radar) or just use an IR in your DAW
The last thing China imported here in the US was COVID and it sucked. However, this thing is awesome. Not sure if it completely makes up for the 'Rona, it just depends on how long this thing lasts. Built tough and sounds great.

I had my Joyos plugged in overnight and now they dont work. I have the American, the british and the California plugged into a 9v Mosky DC Tank. Left it overnight and next day got no sound out of them. They light up etc as usual but nothing else.
Just got mine today. I am running it in front of a Boss GX-100 using the 4 cable method. My favorite amp selection is #2. Number 1 is my second favorite. I do not play heavy metal. Blues, rock, oldies, smooth jazz, neo-soul and gospel are my genres. Sounds great! I will use it live utilizing the XLR to front of house. It sounded better with the amp and cab turned on using the 4 cable method. I am using the natural amp selection in the GX-100. Hopefully this information will help others to get great tones out of their Joyo Preamp House! ROCK ON!!!!
