@@larrydering1598unfortunately I bought and returned this. I was not able to get those clean tones no matter what I plugged into. I followed all the instructions and wasn't happy with it. I own several Joyo pedals and they worked great. I wish this could have happened with the preamp house.
Hello Joyo ..... a silly question but where in the effects chain would i place this pedal if i have a Joyo amplifier simulator like the AC Tone? Can it be plugged into a external physoical 8ohm or 16ohm speaker cabinet ?
You can add it to where you put AC Tone. To plug into a cabinet, you have to have a power amp box (which needs to provide enough for your cab - check specs) and then go cabinet from there.
Hey Joyo. Idk of u actually read these comments or not, but if u do, you guys should venture into making Bantamp bass amps. Those tiny little monsters sound fantastic, are extremely affordable and remarkably small, but are only options for guitarists. I would love to see a bass amp version. I understand when it comes to bass and solid state power amps u need a lot more wattage in comparison to guitar but i think u guys could figure it out. Even if was the same product concept but ended up being a little bigger in size, it would still be worth it to check out as a consumer. Im a guitarist as well as a bassist so i still plan on purchasing the Zombie II, Jackman II, and the BlueJay or Atomic to try out and expand to my arsenal of tones, but i really wish there was a bass amp bantamp series. I would definitely buy a couple of them.
@@orryfishburne5326 it’s available. It’s called Badass Bass amp. Its same size and its 50watts. Dusl channal like the Jackman XL and Zombie XL. (I have both plus the blue jay (completely coincidence) i just ordered the bass amp myself
I have the R-08 Cab Sim pedal. Great pedal!!!! I love the power tube section!! Why would you not offer a preamp that would control the R-08 thru midi. The R-15 offers ONE cab sim with no adjustments!! How sad is that?!?!
Hi. I would like to use the XLR balanced out, but I'm pretty scared of hitting the 48V button accidentally in my Focusrite and burn the pedal down. Is there any protection for this? I'm using the Joyo Cab Box by the way. Thanks!
@@TheCesarperez1000 we can agree there! Ps.. forget the part about Rammstein.... I thought I was referring to a different post about the Tech 21 Paul Landers fly rig
I didn't hear it too much with the exception of amps 3 and 4 in drive channels, but do any of the clean channels have an "edge of breakup" kind of sound? This would be a great worship guitar option if I knew that it could take overdrives well.
The Preamp House is great to jam through, but there's a weird upper mid fizz that really comes through when you stack 2 or more guitar tracks together. It could probably be remedied with an EQ pedal - potentially - but in a mix it sounds like a distortion pedal rather than a preamp. I really like the sounds as I'm playing them, but as a recording box it's just not going to cut it. FYI for those perfectionists out there
If it is out it's very almost unnoticeable.hes prolly bending the strings a lil bit when he grips th neck...you know ,like a real man grips a guitar neck to play it an make it scream into submission.i guess you gotta work on your grip..stop using the girly grip technique that keeps your precious tuning safe from the real man hands playing style that this guy incorporates.out if tune my ass,it's string hand grip mr. Pussy fingers.
Please, next time play with a good guitar, With someone playing well, especially with a tuned guitar. This video has a very bad example! I'm sorry, but it devalues your product.
Once again with the 7 string crap. I love Hard Rock / Metal, but I don't want a demo of what could be a REVOLUTIONARY pedal for my board, with a 7 string. Why couldn't you just use a Les Paul? Or an ESP / LTD Eclipse / EC-1000 or similar guitar? 7 String is a VERY specific genre subset. I would personally be using this pedal in a Worship rig, as well as my "weekend gig playing in small bars / venues DI'd to front of house" setup if at all possible. I will be doing a proper demo once mine arrives, as this was definitely BETTER than all previous demos, but still used the stupid 7 string for most of the gain channel settings... Not very useful in my opinion.
"stupid 7 string" not very p&w of you. The cleans sound pretty neat here. Can't imagine the multi-stage drives p&w use with the immense amounts of gain would change much considering I don't need any gain from an amp when playing p&w w/ my board.
@@jonkuenning How is stupid 7 string "not praise and worship". Did i call the guy names? Did I berate him or say he was stupid or something? I said the EXACT same thing MANY people on this review video have said. And that is "flubby chugging" from the 7 string is NOT a good demo for ANY product, unless you are Ola Englund playing through a Randall Satan amp, which sounds AWESOME! Do I personally like 7 string guitars? No, I do not. Have I bought and tried them? Yes, I currently own one, a Schechter. Do I think 7 strings are GREAT for specific genre subsets of heavy, HEAVY metal? ABSOLUTELY! Do I think a product needs be demo'd EXCLUSIVELY with a 7 string? Nope, because MANY people play something other than a 7 string. Having a 7 string to be IN the demo, that's perfectly fine, but not the ENTIRE video with nothing else. That would be like a car dealership showing you commercials for a Ford Focus only, and not stocking ANY other car, would you buy from that car lot if your favorite car model was Chevy, Audi, Mercedes? No, you wouldn't.. would that commercial for ONLY Ford Focuses appeal to you? Nope, not at all. Thank you for your opinion, I truly appreciate it, we are all human and have an opinion, and I don't think yours is a bad one. But your trying to call out "not very P&W" of me, is an absolute attempt to pull something that just isn't there, because I wasn't calling them stupid or dumb or anything, so that was a poor attempt to make me look like something I am not. Also, I agree with the "cleans" statement, but it's not an overall representation of this pedal by a LONG shot.
7 string guitars are niche because people started using 8 strings. 7 string guitars aren't as niche as single coils in the context of high gain amps though. You seem a bit upset.
