I find that it’s split between: -Legitimately bad person doing a bad thing, or mildly annoying person who’s actually being acknowledged as just being annoying but harmless -Option one but people are trying to use it to hate on other people (eg “the person here is X, this is why every member of X group is bad”) -Legitimately just bullying some random person who’s doing nothing wrong -Satire that nobody realizes or cares is satire, or is intentionally being passed off as being done unironically so they can hate on people

Not picking on you specifically this is just my thoughts from one autism to another - The scale more like a circular dart board, but instead of numbers, it's divided into 6 pieces. You got your social skills, sensory, motor skills, communication, functional and perception. I like to think that someone's autisms' strengths and weaknesses are determined by 'darts'. A dart close to the middle means that's probably gonna interfere with your day to day life, a dart closer to the edge of the board means you may be able to EXCEL in it. And some people can have more darts, less darts, other conditions that intervene, someone could pass as high-functioning by giving the right answers in an assessment, yet not truly understand and refuse to use them in the real world.. or be completely mute and openly stim yet have the mental capacity to understand everything. The bottom line is it's not as black and white as high-functioning, autism or severe, and I don't think it's healthy being portrayed that way. That is all.

The problem I have with comparing trauma is one isn’t factoring in the depth of the trauma. Quality will always be better than quantity. For all that girl knows, the parent’s divorce created such a ripple effect that the friend feels it decades later. The family home was probably sold and they had to move, one parent might have married someone the friend can’t stand, their college fund might have been used to buy mom a house and keep them off the streets, they might have developed a drug addiction to cope with their parents constantly fighting… but she’ll never know because all she’s focused on is the one event in time.

As someone who has been through insane amounts of trauma my entire life, the trauma contests are stupid. Being traumatized in any way shape or form isn't fun. Doesn't matter how much trauma a person has. Trauma still negatively impacts people. I'm probably more messed up than a lot of people but that doesn't make other people's pain or trauma invalid. All it means is I tend to experience the pain they do but more frequently. It doesn't somehow make me superior. Let people be sad and give them help to cope with their trauma. Flexing how traumatized you are isn't cute.

The game grants you the power of using Avada Kedavra. Maybe even other unforgivable curses. I remember the tenth doctor in his Alistair Moody cosplay asking pupils about the forbidden curses and stating that using them just once grants you a ticket straight to Azkaban. So it's horrible that a) the curse has apparently stopped being unforgivable against goblins and b) stopped being unforgivable against quest NPCs. You know, if you kill a pedestrian in GTA, the cops start coming for you. If you kill an important character in Oblivion, you get a message stating the thread of fate has been severed (basically the quest line is broken). In Wizard Game none of that happens. Quest NPCs just have plot armor and other NPCs just die and surrounding NPCs do the NPC equivalent of thoughts and prayers. This is not the reaction i expect from becoming a wizard school shooter. Another thing that annoyed me was that back when we trans people asked people to not buy the game, we got responses such as "How about you cancel all your subscriptions first?" as if we were asking to immediately cease everything that could be remotely unethical. The ethical consumption under capitalism is impossible but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't at least try.

For those who might be curious, the problematic video from Kothorix the dragon was one of two things that ended up very controversial.
