That quote if I remember referred to one of the churches in a certain place somewhere in the Roman Empire which said that the women there should be kept silent Literally every other place written by the same guys said that women can teach, prophesy and should be equal to men (work together in harmony? World needs both) Apparently most historians and theologians studying that section and looking at some of the inconsistencies with other verses by the same guy theorize that there were people coming into the church who were teaching things that weren’t part of the gospel…? Who just so happen to be very well educated women that didn’t learn the gospel and were teaching a different religion in the church. Paul I think was telling Timothy to tell them to shut up. Unfortunately many people look at this verse and slam the table and yell that the Bible teaches for women to be quiet. The Bible doesn’t teach that, but taking things out of context for ones own gain is a hell of a drug

Well we also need to factor in that realistically a samurai would most likely _only_ have any reason to fax Abraham Lincoln in the years he was president. So 22 years is kinda a stretch since previous to his presidency he was either an American lawyer, a state Congressman, and then a House Rep, all of which a samurai would have no real reason to reach out to. SO in all truth a samurai would have likely only had about *4 years* to fax Abraham Lincoln, in which of these years Abe was dealing with a civil war and the Japanese were dealing with the Russians during 1861 and then Europe (especially the British) during the rest of the time. Both sides probably would have been too busy to consider it, and a samurai contacting a foreign power could be seen as treasonous to the Shogunate....sooooooo.... Yeah while possible _highly unlikely_
