A friend of my dad's has a cat named satan. Her house burned down, most of her belongings have been destroyed, but satan literally walked out of the house, sat in the front yard and just licked his paws. Dont mess with cats that have any hellish names.

I low key cried during the entire first story, but then maliciously laughed during the cat one. I have a cat named Alan and she is exactly like that! She literally hates everyone but me and my little brother, but people still say “oh, I would SO take her home!” Those people are no longer allowed to see her.

The grandpa in the first story is an amazing person. We need more people like him

One of my teachers once told me a story about how her cat saved her life. She was sleeping in her dorm room, when her cat came up and started hitting her face. When she woke up she smelled and saw smoke. She went to get her other roommate, and her roommate ran out while she tried to get her cat. She couldn’t find the cat so assumed he had run outside after her roommate. She ran outside too. It wasn’t too long until the firefighters arrived, and put out the fire, which luckily hadn’t spread as much as it could have. Turns out their neighbor had fallen asleep while smoking 😬. And her cat had actually hidden in her closet before they ran outside, and ended up dying in the fire. But he had managed to save his owner.

Not gonna lie, the moment I saw the name of the cat, my eyes widened and I knew this cat would be terrifyingly awesome

The grandpa and OP are both amazing, loving and heartwarming personalities. with all of the money that his grandpa gave him he built himself a very good life (in my opinion), as well as building a safehouse for children, and possibly employing people that need it. Kudos to them

i listen to these stories every day while doing my makeup/getting ready for work. in the first story, when she said “i got a tattoo for my grandma and grandpa on my back of two lions protecting a cub” i started bawling like a baby.

I've been bitten by a cat before (it wasn't long ago but now it's healing without bandages) NEVER EVER underestimate a cat's fangs, those shits went DEEP into my skin (Explaining why she bit me: so we have multiple cats and dogs, she got in a fight with our male chubby cat and I decided to stroke them (after we FINALLY separated them) to calm them down, she goes full-on BITE and scratch (the scratch was super tiny I didn't even feel pain from it) and oh my god, it was PAINFUL she kinda slid off to the side so it just looked like a cut, I had to wear some special bandages which were a total of 5 bandages, I, of course, forgive her since she was in quite the fight so of course, she'd be angry.) moral of this story, never fucking underestimate a cat when they're "play bitting you" they can go DEEP into that skin, be cautious.

That second story is proof as to why cats are the best!

I have a friend who was in an abusive relationship for years, when he tried to run away after a really bad fight he tried to a shelter of victims but wasn’t allowed in because he was male ended up being rejected by 7 homes. At which point he called me. Stayed with me for about 2 weeks before finding somewhere else to live. So hearing a shelter that accepts anyone really has my respect.

I had a cat I hand reared when I was 9- one was still born and obviously diseased (had white ulcers all over its poor little body- these kittens were the size of a £1 note max) I nursed the runt and eventually we did rehome the little tiger and all the brothers and sisters (we had kept some from the first litter too) but it came time when they needed new homes. I now have 2 more cats years down the line (and a dog I’m training as my service dog) my 2 cats have chronic bladder issues so I’m constantly giving them medicine and supplements from the vet to literally keep them alive- I dare ANYONE to try take any of my animals (I have a cutesy little hamster who was a triplet but her 2 sisters became riddled with cancer - tumours building out their stomachs and faces and died within months of each other but my little remaining one is going strong!) never ever try take someone’s animal ESPECIALLY when that animal has a deeper bond with their human than most!

I’ve had an emotional day and this video honestly really helped me feel better.
