Parrots are as smart as a 3 year old, so no surprise there. Just like toddlers, some are smarter than others!

It apparently comes from an abusive situation, so I wonder if it's repeating something those people said before hurting the poor thing and now it works as a warning before bite.

@@sweetr1832 The parrot was 100% abused. You can tell by the feathers and how it says the words. It doesn't sound threatening. It LOOKS threatening. It looks to me like the parrot has been plucking its feathers, too, which is a common sign of stress.

Few years back I translated and narrated a creepypasta called Mimicry about similar sitution with a parrot. Still gives me creeps.

I don't think the parrot knows what it's saying. It's saying "Come over here" and "I won't hurt you" but it seems nervous and defensive about being approached.

I'm willing to bet the bird was abused too, but I assumed the "I'm not gonna hurt you" and the like were from the new owner trying to comfort it and make it feel safe. They just weren't thinking about how much the parrot was going to memorize and say back to them.

@@kingofnuggets7304 So, since parrots repeat things, this bird has obviously been hearing "Come here, I'm not gonna hurt you" repeated over and over. Some people think the bird heard that a conversation between two people (an abusive person pretending they're not about to hit their kid, etc). My take is that this is a rescue parrot, it had previously been in a home where it was mistreated or neglected. The people in the video are the current owners and probably have been trying to comfort him. So what he's been hearing the most is "I won't hurt you" from people who are trying to help. Again, that's just my opinion on the situation.

When I was a baby I had an ear infection. My mum asked if she could still fly home. The doctor said yes no problem but her ear drums will pop. My mum asked if that would hurt me and they said yes it would. She decided to not do that surprisingly. But it's kinda scary the doctor was so chill with it.

The swimmer who gets eaten at the start of Jaws was also having her ribs broken by the cables that were yanking her down into the water. Obviously a very realistic scene (very disturbing) but thankfully filmmakers are more careful with the actors now.

This is what the post in the video was referring to, real screams and all. The OP majorly butchered the telling. Yes, the bed was violent and painful for Linda Blair, but it didn't cause permanent damage and the true screams like happened to the mom.

Additionally, when Aragorn kicks the helmet after one of the battles, and he drops to his knee sobbing, he actually broke his toe with the kick, so the yell of pain and frustration was real too.

They took the affected ones to the hospital while the police arrested the guy. They still don’t know why he did it, maybe tonight (we have two times for the news, one when we’re eating, at 3 pm, and one at dinner time, 9-10 pm) will say something in the news if they manage to get some more info

The first thing I learned about how to survive a stampede is that if someone falls you're supposed to help them up for the better of the group. A lot of anteaters have very weak or no teeth at all. It's probably a convergent evolution because anteating requires you to swallow a lot of dirt with the ants, and dirt getting stuck on your teeth could cause health problems (while the teeth are not useful to kill ants anyway ^^).

That makes a lot of sense, logically. I mean, people die in surgery, you don't want to have to then wheel them through the building. Same reason funeral homes have the entrances for the dead and the bevered on opposite side of the building.

Makes sense to me- neither needs windows, so they're both going to be in the interior of the building. That means there's only so far from each other they can be. And you can't have the piping for the kitchen or bathrooms running through them either, which further limits it.

Parrots are as smart as 3yo humans. This is a heavily studied thing, we know this with a pretty decent certainty. Idk how many toddlers you know, but most are stringing together at least simple sentences with understood meaning by that age. This parrot ABSOLUTELY knew what it was saying.

@@dmgroberts5471 Unfortunately I don't got my driver's license yet but I've ridden in a car down streets like that when my family's gone on road trips and all; definitely spooky and also a good thing for a horror game! Oo- especially if your the driver and it's a similar thing where it's a roadtrip and you've got kids in the back and all that? That'd be really good for a horror game; like all the kids asleep in the back while you keep driving and come across horrors along the road, but it's hard to tell because of the darkness and the fact you know you're tired makes you doubt yourself on what your seeing until you can't ignore it anymore

Though trains are also much more complicated to operate and take more force/time to stop or turn so it could be scarier in just the mechanics to operate it plus the fear factor; though a car would feel more personal and being in a train can make you feel safe with how big and sturdy it is- It's hard to decide!
