@@blaze-ex8ht probably none (at least in the short term) since the advantage with nitrogen is that it seeps out slower than regular air, so you can more easily maintain a good tire pressure. A well pressurized tire is more important then if its filled with regular air or nitrogen
@@AltonV There is a slight caveat to that. You want nitrogen filled tires if you're going to exceed ~150mph. It's to limit the thermal expansion of the air in the tire, making it marginally more resistant to blowing out. So, some muscle cars & super cars can justify the trouble of going nitrogen-only, particularly if they're taken to the track on occasion. Most normal cars cannot.

When I was about 15 I got a small job working for one of the largest UK newspapers. My sister worked there as a researcher and they needed someone to reorganise their files. Well me and another kid were hired for a 2 week job to do the filing. It was a complete mess and took us 3 weeks to do it all (there was so much to do) They never paid us for well over a year, even though we kept asking and while we were waiting the same people asked if we would do the same job again for them. Even though we never got paid for the first job. 🤦♂️
I can relate to the first story. I worked at a call center where I booked people for covid vaccines, I worked 3 days but quit because I couldn't handle the pressure (8 hours of non stop answering the phone everyday dealing with very rude people). I had a contract and they were supposed to pay me about $100, but everytime I called no one answered. The petty revenge: I had brought home my headphones I got at work since we were supposed to, however we didn't own them. So I just kept them and they never called back. Free headphones may not be much, but I see it as a small victory lol

When I was 19 I had a part-time job at a daycare ran by A church during the summer. After working there for 3 months the daycare closed it's doors. Fast forward to January the following year and I never received my W2 in the mail. I called to inquire about the W-2, I was told that I didn't need one because I didn't earn over a certain dollar amount. I smelled bs. Went to an H &R block representative for advice. She called the church and got the same runaround. She typed letter of explanation, made copies of every check stub and sent in to the IRS. Never heard what happened to the church but Uncle Sam didn't come knocking on my door so no skin off of my back.
First story: “she said that I almost killed a patient” oh and whose fault would THAT be if the EMT who was told “you won’t be given training, just *figure it out*” accidentally killed a patient because they had no *training?!* Honestly that accusation would be setting herself up to get some responsibility put on her if evidence of that talk could be provided
A friend of mine who got his parking spot taken did something a bit more extreme... He went out at an ungodly hour in a bad snowstorm, used the snow to surround the parking spot thief's car as tightly packed as possible and poured and poured water into it. Think of it as a makeshift pool. The parking spot's thief's car got effectively encased in hardened ice, making it impossible to even get into and the parking spot thief didn't notice due to the severity of the snowstorm. Once the weather cleared out, the thief went outside only to find the rock solid chunk of ice that used to be his car's lower half. The parking spot thief had to use a welding torch and tons of boiling water for hours on end to get his car out, which also got flooded inside from the melting ice. Parking spot thief made it a point not to park in the near vicinity ever again regardless of weather.
Happened to me. Encountered car parked horribly, taking up four (!) parking spaces. Boxed it in with shopping carts. When I was about to leave happily laughing, I finally saw the heavy disability passport behind the front windscreen. A pizza menu was lodged in front of it, so I did not see it sooner. Luckily was able to get all the shopping carts removed before the owner got back.
I started a new job where I have to wake up at 5 am to be there by 7, and your videos come out right when I wake up so they’re part of my pre work ritual now :)
I think that last story was made up because I don’t think judges would allow profanity in their courtroom. It’s still an entertaining story nonetheless It’s also satisfying when a self-righteous person gets taken down a peg like the guy in the double-parking story BTW, happy 3-year anniversary!
That last story was absolutely TREMENDOUS! I laughed so hard at the end. It's great when a narcissistic ass gets the karma they've desperately been avoiding. I'd love to see a copy of just the OP's impact statement where it actually shows that the court stenographer took that down. I hope the OP from that story - and all stories told on R/Slash - that the OP moved on and is living a life that's rich, successful and everything they want it to be. For the landrover butthole story by the air pump: I would personally have an ace up my sleeve if I met him there in my own insignificant Toyota: a very obnoxious bell sound that deafens people nearby as a sort of secondary horn. No one ever expects that kind of sound or volume from a tiny Toyota. My grandpa had a great sense of humor with cars, and since he couldn't install the same sort of air horn he had in his previous car, he went for a church tower bell as a custom mod instead. I am privileged to have inherited this vehicle.
Only problem with the Prius is OP's wife didn't have winter tires for it. I drive through 8 inches of snow with mine quite frequently, 20 miles to the hiway. We live off grid.
Don't forget to keep the valve stem caps. A lot of them now come with a rubber seal in which you can fill up the tires and cap the stem and they'll still hold air for a while.

I keep a valve stem core tool in my vehicle exactly for the Range Rover type of people. Unscrew the core of the valve stem just enough to create a leak. Or, just remove the core all together.
35 years ago there was a Florida car dealer with the motto, 'No other dealer would dare!'. One of their salesmen was arrested for selling drugs, at their location, so we finally found out why other dealers didn't dare!
If someone steals your parking spot, do these five things. 1. Squirt super glue into all of the locks. 2. Pull back the rubber gasket around their windows and drizzle some oil down in there. (Any time they roll their windows down and back up, they get a fresh coat of oil.) 3. Butter their windshield. 4. Get a rubber ball and just ram it way up their tailpipe. 5. Take a small pebble and put it underneath the tire stem caps so that it will slowly and discretely let the air out over an extended period of time.
Last story- I'm so glad OP got herself out of that situation and felt strong enough to say what she wanted to her abuser. I wish I had the guts to say something like she did when I was in the same situation. I was more worried about what would happen when he got out though so I was still being careful about what I said.
With regards to towing/a*hole neighbours parking/dumping, my (late) uncle had bought an old army truck.... it was a wreck, literally... it was a Scammell Pioneer, of WWII vintage, the best way to describe it is it was a 6x4 army truck, a bit like the ubiquitous duece and a half... when he bought it the timber was rotten, the canvas and rubber perished, and there was a good patina of surface rust... he spent years restoring it, a couple of years after its back on the road a neighbour got angry about the use of "his driveway", and promptly re-fenced the boundary fence removing the gate, and placed two 3'x×6' concrete barriers (like the median road walls) in the middle of road.... my uncle used the party-piece of that particular truck.... drove right over the top... then towed the two blocks of concrete upto his actual boundary mark, on the gazetted municipal road that was "his driveway"... my uncle's property was a couple of acres with the main parts on "front street", but a rear access gate on "back road", but as only the two of them used that section of road the neighbour claimed all the way to the perpendicular "main road" as his driveway.... the party piece was it was a four out of six wheel drive truck, the front axle pivoted left and right like an old model T ford, but the back wheels were laid out in an H pattern with what's referred to a walking beam axle, also geared down for lower speeds but maximum torque... given that it had grip it would climb near vertical obstacles and traverse terrain with vast disparities in heights.
I had a similar issue at the last apartment I lived in. Behind the building was a 2 level parking structure. I parked on the top level cuz it was free due to be uncovered. I always parked at the first end spot so I only had 1 car parked beside me. There was no assigned parking but it was just understood who parked where. In the winters I would shovel my own spot because the snowplow hired by the building would just push the snow into my corner spot instead of dumping it somewhere else. One winter we had a huge dump of snow, like 3-4 ft in 24 hrs. I worked nights so when I got home the parking spots had been cleared but there was a huge mound in my spot. I got out my shovel and spent the next hour dumping it all over the side and cleaning my spot. My truck was parked in a different spot while I was clearing mine. I finished clearing it out and walks down about 6 spots to my truck to move it into my spot. Before I could do this some asshat parks in my spot and walks away. I told him thats my spot that I just cleared. He gave me the finger and laughed. So I waited until he went inside and put all the snow back in the spot totally covering his car and I piled extra in front and down the sides. I then spent about another 2 hours pouring bucket after bucket of cold water all over the snow pile. By the time I was done there was an nice car shaped ice sculpture. Next day I saw he had to have a tow truck winch it out. I walked outside to my truck and when he saw me I just gave him the finger and laughed as I drove off. Never saw him again so I assume he was just visiting.

A buddy keeps an oil-soaked rag for just such "parking violations". A few whacks across the windshield, and it'll take the dbag half a roll of paper-towels to clean off, especially if he tries the lazy way of just flicking on the wipers.
If a neighbor stabbed my kid's new basketball with a screwdriver, I'd have called the cops and filed a criminal damage report. Just because something accidentally ends up on your property doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it.
I was working out in the Walmart parking lot and I saw that this one person had parked their suburban so that it took up 4 spaces at once. Someone wrote the N-word in the dusty windshield to let the driver know exactly how everyone felt about their parking.
I feel hopeful that one day, that landrover story will never happen again because tyres that don't use air are already fully developed and can be used withing the next couple years

Regular air (that is 70% nitrogen) is free, but 99% pure nitrogen for tires is f-ing expensive!! Some of these people sound like real psychos. That guy freezing up the neighbour's windshield - was that an adult? It's something a ten-year-old kid would do. And the guy letting out the pressure from the tires? That's downright vandalism. I get these stories are called petty revenge, but some of these people sound seriously creepy and prone to overreacting over very random things.
I just wanna say its the most horrible thing to do to a person is to intentionally get them pregnant to trap them. I myself been a victim to this so he could keep me stuck. Its horrible for not only me but for the poor kid thrown in it.
Yep had the same exact parking spot issue the other day. I'm in a city that rarely gets snow (low elevation) and when we do, it's usually not much and melts almost immediately. We'll we just got around 10 inches over the last week. This is such a rare thing that shovels, ice melt, snow blowers, and car window ice scrapers were sold out everywhere because stores just didn't carry that many and people never plan ahead. (Like why didn't you buy one at the beginning of winter just to have for the future?) So one day before going to work, I go and shovel my space. Like in the story, no assigned parking. Well I come home from work and a car that belongs to someone who doesn't live here was in my spot. There were other spaces available but mine was the only one shoveled. Nobody else bothered to clear their spaces before leaving and decided tobtake mine. Well I cleared out another space and park my car. Leave and come back the next day and you know what?.....My mother, who lives with me, took my spot lol. Yes I told her what she did. Annoyed at people's guests taking spots but was just teasing my mom.
