@@jkerphnts4819 I've never heard of it until now so I also thought it was strange too until I thought about it. Aggressive dogs, especially large ones, can rip you apart if they wanted to. Big dogs can even kill you if they are intent on it. I wouldn't be surprised if a small dog could kill you, however, it would take a lot more effort and time than a big dog. However, most dogs that I've met are very docile.

@Lowezar
@Lowezar 3 года назад
@Daddy But that's the thing, they only act like they don't care. When it finally happens - sure as hell they'll be trying to get you to talk to them, but likely still be oblivious to the reasons of why you don't want to talk to them. And they'll blame you for being a dick to your own parents who've done "everything" for you. So yeah... They'll be sad and sorry but still not realize they're the problem in this relationship. ...So... Kinda hard to feel revenge when they still don't get it. But then again, you probably won't want revenge and just shut them out. One thing to watch out in this - that you don't become that monster yourself to people around you. Because yeah, you'll be just as unaware as your parents were. So whenever you have a disagreement with someone in the future - try to analyse it objectively, give yourself and the other party fake names, pretend you're a judge in the court with 2 people you don't know at all. Personal experience...
@Lowezar

Around 20 years ago, I bought a townhouse that had two assigned parking spaces, and I'd always come home from work to find the neighbor's kids' friends taking both of my spaces. I'd knock on the door, but the neighbor would pretend that she had "no idea whose cars they were". So I'd walk outside with the cordless phone and call the towing company, and sure enough, two kids would bolt out of that very house and move the two cars. Eventually one day I blocked them in, and they came banging on my door, but I waited for the tow truck, and they had to pay a hookup fee. Maybe I'll post the whole story on r/pettyrevenge someday.

For the dog 5 year old story, it would've been perfect if the dog was like 4.5 years or older (but not full 5 yet) so OP just could've forced it "yeaa but 4.5 rounded up is 5" so OP would've still been 'partially right'

Okay, have to tell this story. When my dog, Bennett, was about 5 months old, I took him to a dog park. This park was huge, with a swimming area, lots of doggos to play with and Bennett loved it. Now, we were there one day and Bennett is running around having a blast when this woman walks in with a toddler, no dog or even a leash showing she had a dog. Bennett loves children, always has, and immediately takes off to see the kid. Well, I started after him cause he was still just a puppy and didn't have the best self control. As Bennett runs up, I see the woman encouraging her kid to run and play with my dog and just as I am approaching, the toddler trips over his own feet and face plants in the grass. The woman goes to pick up her son and Bennett comes over to check on him. Kid starts bawling and this woman is glaring at my puppy and acting like she is going to kick him. Then she looks at me and stops short cause I guess my thoughts were displayed on my face, "kick my dog and I will kick your kid". Simply put, if you have a toddler and don't have a dog, stay out of the dog park!

The beeping of the horn reminded me of my old van that had a little card insert killswitch. A family member, that I didn't want driving my van, pressured me into borrowing it in front of the rest of my family so to keep the peace I went out with her to 'make room'... And, remove the little card. Five minutes later she came in telling me that it wouldn't start. For some reason it started just fine for me, but not for her. She finally decided that if my van was this much trouble it's better to use someone else's vehicle or she'd get stuck on the side of the road somewhere.

Honestly, that's probably the best reaction to give. Just act like you don't care. This behavior is usually just attention seeking. They have to be the best, they have to always be right, because it makes them feel important and special. But if you show you don't care, that's basically you telling them you don't think they're all that special, and they're wasting their time with you, like the mom in this story who spent an hour to find some adoption papers to prove she was right, only for OP to be like 'Huh, fancy that, oh well, I'm going to bed' like it was no big deal.

When I was just of age to drink decades ago, the pubs had two rooms: "Men's Room,' and "Ladies and Escorts Room." A few years earlier it became legal to allow women in the Men's Room, but it was up to the establishment. It may seem backwards, BUT single men were not allowed in the "Ladies and Escorts Room, so single females could drink without someone trying to pick them up. Of course all those laws have changed decades ago.

When somebody wants to get away from the dogs in a dog park and there's water, that's the cue to wet the dog and intentionally try to get the dog to shake dry right onto their food. As to the dog in the later story being 4 I highly doubt if you adopted it you got the dog when it new born, most places won't even allow a dog to be adopted until it is about 3 months old (give or take) so even if you got the dog 4 years ago depending on the month you picked it up it could very well have been 5 years old seeing as I'm pretty sure the birthday doesn't change to the day of adoption or there are some 0 year olds in highschool somewhere.

omg i had that with the dog park once! i was walking with my male neighbour at a wide open park kinda place for dogs, ofcourse with my dog. he was running around wildly and i was still training him so he was a bit unsubordinate. after a while this woman who came out of the bushes went like "leash the dog, he runs so fast! i dont want him near me" (its a big old english bulldog so he may come of treathening to some people) so i went like "sorry but this is litterally the ONLY off leash area here, hes not bothering anyone just running circles". the woman said "well i am scared of dogs so you should hold him until i'm gone!" (note this would have taken awhile cause its a pretty big field and it was hot with the shaded areas her direction) so i said "well then you shouldnt go to a dog walking place" she said "ï have all rights to be here!" "so do we, also i am scared of people" (ptsd, social anxiety) and i turned to my neighbour who was a tal dark skinned man with a deep voice and said "could you hold her untill i've passed? i'm scared of her" and the woman instantly fastwalked off while my neighbour was laughing and holding his hands up in a "i got nothing to do with this" motion. we had a good laugh, didnt see her again luckily. just to note there was a even bigger walkaround way for only people to walk, no dogs allowed, with rivers inbetween so we couldnt cross to there. this ares was specifically for people with dogs, and yes i get defensive when people get like this. takes alot out of me though such a small encounter

That dogpoop example reminded me of something that happened to me. I was walking my mother's chihuahuas, and one of the three just sat down to relieve himself. I was digging in my pocket to grab a baggy like a good person, and this random man goes like "Hey! Are you going to pick that up?!" While my little boy was mid-poop. So I turn around, annoyed, as this man hovers over me, and ask: "Can he finish? Is it even out yet?" To which he just says, again, to pick it up. So I wait for my little boy to finish and pick it up, like I was intending on doing anyway. Note I'm a girl and this random man hovering over me is scary, but I was so annoyed that I run after him, holding the bag out, and saying: "Sir! Sir! Here you go, it's still warm! You so desperately wanted it!" And this man just bolts, and I run after him: "SIR! IT'LL COOL! YOU WANT IT WHILE IT'S FRESH!" Then I dropped it, and went inside, told my mum, and we had a laugh, but seriously, can a dog poo in peace?

The story about walking to your car and finding a group of guys leaning on it is super scary as a girl. I feel threatened just worried for my safety if I even approach depending on how big the parking lot is and where I'm parked. And when you finally gather up the courage and ask them to get off your car and they give you attitude or ignore you or whatever, it really is so scary. I decided to only press my unlock once which just opens my driver's side, slip in, lock door behind me, seat belt, turn on my car and get on D and inch a bit. They all jump up, glare at me like I did something terrible and move. NEVER gang up around someone's car people. It's scary.

Years ago when me and my granddad were getting ready to leave a pub we were in he gave me the keys to his jag so I could get in while he pops to the toilet As I came out I saw one guy leaning and posing against my granddad's car I just walked over, clicked the button on the keychain to get in the passenger side The guys just walked away saying how awesome the pictures looked and couldn't wait to show their friends and make them think that one of them owns a jag If only they payed attention to my granddad's personalise licence plate

When I lived in California, I had an apartment on the 3rd story but it eas on the corner so I could look out and see my car parked on the street. One day I looked out and saw one of my neighbor kids sitting on the hood of my car. I pressed my vehicle panic button. Watching that Big Tongan kid fly was pretty entertaining... Until later when I came out to see sharpie on my hood and door.

OH SHIT, I never have any stories to share until Rslash's ending comment about someone yelling at a dog owner picking up poop. THIS HAPPENED TO ME! I and some friends were walking, I had my dog, and he let's one go while crossing the road. I walk to the edge and hand off the leash to a friend to go back with dog bag in hand to pick it up. BUT NOOOO! Male Kareb saw this and had to say something. "You gonna pick up your dog shit," he said as I put my hand in the bag to pick up the poop. "Yeah, if you give me a min, I will" Then it goes back and forth until I stop my friends from yelling at the man to say," dont worry Imma pick it up and follow him home and smear shit all over his windows" When I say bro dropped his groceries and used the bag to pick up the dog shit so I wouldn't follow him with it, I cant stress how quickly he did it and ran away.

Some years ago ,my father ran a business within walking distance of a rail station on a main line to London. Dis-spite sign saying that the car park was for the business only ,commuters wold still park there all day You got two warnings taped to your windscreen, after that he would remove the HT leads and distributor (1970s-80s). The commutator would then have to call a breakdown service. When the breakdown service came he would walk out and give them the leads and say "you may need these". The sweet thing is the business was a rural pub and the commutator would use the pay phone and have a drink until the breakdown service came.

Many years ago now i drove trains for BRITISH RAIL. On some early turns we would park by the shunters lobby next to the up sidings. When i parked at 03:30 the place was empty. When i returned, i was blocked in with about three inches of clearance both front and back of me. Now where i was parked was on a steep hill, facing downhill as it was part of the one way system. I inched my car into DRIVE and nudged the car in front of me into the car in front of that one and did the same manouvre behind me, thus concertinring three or four cars both ways. This created enough room for me to drive out, but this also made the car immediately in my rear to stick out into the road. I drove home and calmly reported the car sticking out and obstructing the road. It got towed. I learnt from the shunter the next day, it got towed and several others got tickets for obstruction.

I think what you said about the parking is spot on. Part of the problem with those people not connecting the dots is that when they choose to be irrational, they've probably got a history of no consequences, or they're egged on or emboldened by those around them kind of like the neighbor who had first told OP to eff off.

That story in the pub reminded me of a similar reddit post about a similar situation where the woman working at the bar got and sick and tired of the customers harrassing and driving away the female customers. I don't remember the exact details but it ended with one of the most notorious, loud and lewd guys arguing with her and then finding himself staring down the barrel of her shotgun... Literally peed his pants and never came back!! I wanted to make that a proper movie sequence!!

i worked at a hospital in the '90s. we had one spot in the entire area where we could smoke. one day i go out on a lunch break and find the place nearly deserted and i have to wonder why since it was usually occupied. a patient's family is sitting at the table and one of the other smokers tells me they want to eat there and don't want us smoking while they eat. i sit down, light up, and they tell me they'd like me not to smoke. i pointed out there was another outdoor place they could go where smoking wasn't allowed and that this was the only place we were allowed to smoke and i wasn't moving anywhere. they got up and left in a huff. i didn't care if i did get "talked to". we had ONE PLACE.

When I still lived at my apartment. We had assigned parking spots. The problem was random people would park in the lot then walk downtown. Even know there were signs everywhere saying No public parking. you were left with no where to park if someone took your spot. One time I catch a pair of girls who parked in my spot as they were leaving to walk somewhere. I asked them to move, and that the lot was for the apartment residences only. They just flipped me off and kept walking. So I found a spot on the road and walked home. I got in my apartment, grabbed a bottle of dish soap, and soaped their car windows. Then the car sat for hours in the sun. Drying the dish soap. When the girls got back they found the soap covered car. It was funny hearing they flip out. Oh and the windshield whippers made it worse! And seeing it was just soap and car wasn’t damaged in anyway.

Speaking of mechanics, for anyone listening. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO PEP BOYS AUTO REPAIR! I don't want anyone to go through what I have. 3 months with: Thousands in Damage. No car. No communication. This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had. I paid $800 to have my radiator replaced. In what should have been a basic installation they managed to crack my transmission cooler lines, which I discovered while driving 60+ mph down the highway. My car died almost immediately, 60mph to 10mph in less than a minute. I then had to have my car towed to this location 3 separate times before they finally had AAMCO look at my transmission and agree it was destroyed (I have this in writing). This was over 2 months ago. They have not provided a rental and I am still waiting on their claims department to get back to me with any status updates. I have called, my lawyer has reached out, and I only get voicemails with no return calls or emails. 3 months with: Thousands in Damage. No car. No communication. They still have not paid AAMCO for the diagnostic. The transmission will be over 7 Grand to fix. In short, Pep Boys almost killed me and absolutely killed my car.
