I have to give a big shout-out to Garret and his crew at AM Solar. I just completed a 600 Ah lithium/inverter-charger install on a 2020 Montana. I'm up in Canada so I had to do the install myself. With no previous experience with electrical whatsoever everything went surprisingly well. It would have been incredibly difficult to do this right the first time without the AM Solar kit and custom drawings which included everything I needed (less tools) as well as all the quick email replies to my newbie questions. Looking forward to the 250 A alternator & starter battery kit scheduled to arrive this week. Cheers....
you mention that the PRE WIRE STICKER was in the wrong place. I have a 2019 176 and the sticker was below the stereo but alas NO PREWIRE. Where did you end up finiding the actual prewires?
Look in the wall directly under the junction box on the roof. In the case of the R-POD I worked on, this wall was just to the right of the door. Good luck. It was a seriously annoying situation.
Everything is very customized and that installation is somewhat dated. Fill out a Quote Request on the AMSolar website and I'll get you a custom quote.
If you go to the AM Solar website and mouse over Contact, you will see a link to a dealer page. I believe we have a dealer in Texas that might be able to help you.

So let's take this one step further. I have an r-Pod 179 and am also converting to lithium batteries. From 2 -6 volt outside to 2- 100 watt battle born inside under the bed. What else do i need as I am changing battery technology? Thank you. Jeff House
We recommend a tow vehicle compatibility kit (Part Number 98-ALTCLITOW), a charge controller (assuming you have solar) than can be programmed for lithium, and a shore power charger compatible with lithium. We prefer a (or two connected in parallel) Victron IP67 25A controller. If you send me an email garret@amsolar.com, and tell me about your project, I’ll give you a list of links.
@@garrettowne Thank you for responding. I'll write you later with my project design so far. I have the Midnight solar Kid solar controller for the project. I write later when I have a keyboard and not just my phone. Jeff House
