I feel like there should be a subreddit called unintentional revenge. Because the first story totally fits something like that

That class size is way too big if the prof didn't notice a whole row of four students ALL copying from each other.

"You made me Fail" No dude, you made yourself fail. Moral of the story Kiddies: Cheaters never prosper, and stop using up so much damn Water!! That way, you won't have a huge bill to pay.

I worked at a Dollar General. At the time I was splitting my schedule between my older job and Dollar General and was trying to be a full time student (yes I was an idiot). After a while of course I decided to just drop one job and stay at the other so I went to the job that was paying me more, Dollar General. I put in my two weeks notice at my older job and worked until I completed it. Then, after my final day, I called Dollar General stating I was able to work more often and what days I had available. My manager told me my register was short 2 weeks ago, and I was fired. I was working days after those two weeks and no one ever said ANYTHING to me about my register being short. That place is dead to me.

Best part is, 92% means only 8% of the questions were wrong... meaning the two guys got a maximum of 8% right. They literally would have gotten more right by guessing randomly.

The first thing happened to my brother as well, two managers were stealing stock and stitched my brother up for it and he got sacked for what he didn't do.

the first story also happend to me though i had no revenge, i worked at a subway and they started limiting my hours to like 3 a week and i ended up quiting but found out i had been accused of stealing and had limited my hours to see if i was, i then found out the person that accused me(the manager) was the one stealing from the till and got fired shortly after i quit

With this quarantine going on I kind of regret binge watching rslash before.

the bookie op should have sued the company for wrongful termination, as should all employees who get fired for obviously false claims, or at least receive a delayed severance package.

I took a math test in high school where I and three of my friends was positioned around a table in a circle. I have always done well, as have the guy sitting across from me. Getting back the test this was confirmed as we both got high grades. The other two however did very poorly. Checking the answers we were a bit confused as they both had the same answers as us. Turns out the teacher had deliberately seated them between us and given them a similar, but different test. They would do the calculations, come to an answer and look at our tests to see if it was correct. See a different answer, being flustered, erasing their original answer and writing ours. They got well and truly duped by the teacher. (I was so focused on the test that I didn't even notice them looking at my paper)

If the "elaborate scheme" had been hinting the teacher, they would have had a fail if the teacher managed to notice.

I'd really like to know how the last OP responded to LeDouche's friend saying they had failed the test. On one hand, I'd say nobody is stupid enough not to realize they'd been played, but on the other hand, yeah, lots of people are that stupid and stupider. Oh, and I once caught a guy cheating off me in a structural engineering class. It was a lot of work, and he hadn't been to class in weeks, so no way I was going to let him go unaccountable. Without making any fuss, I just turned my desk a little bit so he couldn't see my paper. He started fidgeting and looking at his watch every couple of minutes, so I knew I was right.

I've seen this done where a minor financial discrepancy (which was clearly just an invoice gone astray/error by someone as it was an uneven number like £23.54., and as the guy said, he wouldn't risk losing a decently paid a new job with a good pension for a tiny sum of money like that anyway ) was blamed on a new member of staff as a way of "solving" the issue. As he was only a couple of weeks in he had no employee rights and cpuld be dismissed, allowing local management to report they had dealt with the discrepancy. In fact several people had access to where the money was short from... including one of the folks in management who dismissed him.

This reminds me of the time my class mate tried to fail my paper on purpose (we were grading each other) he asked to switch with me and I already had someone else's paper it was his friend so he quickly fixed it and it was great

When I got my first job at fast food place I was hardly getting paid and then quickly being told if the register fell under it was to be taken out of my paycheck because I was the new person even though I wasn't even the only one working the register. Plus I since I was new and was trained for it yet I wasn't the one allowed to cash out the drawer at the end of the shift and a manager was supposed to be the one to do that. I had no idea this was illegal and never told my parents because I was fresh out of high school and super naive thinking that was just how it was because none of my coworkers said anything to me and they all knew cause it was announced in the backroom who's pay was getting taken. I was hardly making anything after my paychecks were getting random amounts taken off and hardly anything from tips because we split it with everyone on shift and I was always given the smaller and usually change amount half even by those who came to the job after me because they felt they deserved it more and I had no backbone to tell them off. I ended up leaving that job because they obviously kept screwing me over and I was tired of getting little to no pay and being taken advantage of. I had customers get so mad when I left because they saw how hard I worked and how lazy my coworkers could be when I was running around taking care of the whole shop and even being there till long after closing. I wish I had said something to my parents I wish I had spoken up about what was happening and all the wrong things they were doing to me and probably others. Years, after I left that place, fell on hard times and now all the old workers and bosses are gone and it's run by entirely new people, but I still wish I had done something back then and stopped them sooner.

That second story. Friggen happened to me. This was a social studies test, on the American Revolution. A topic that HAPPENS to be my forte and the rest of the classes (Minus my two best friends) downfall. The day of the test everyone is struggling. I see the girl who tends to copy off me (lets call her ‘Raven’) chatting with her friend group (5-8 people) Raven sits at my table with my two best friends (lets call them Wind and Water) and a few other kids. What Raven didnt know was, When she was scheming, my phone was out and i was recording everyone. I used this to my advantage, and sneaked over to another group to ask them a riddle. I sit down and quietly ask the riddle, discreetly pointing my phone mic at Raven and her friends. After their flock splits i head back to my seat and during recess, i listen to the footage with Wind and Water. Turns out, She was planning to copy off us, Then it would domino and the friend group would share with the entire class. So, I had the same idea the boy in the story had. But, i told a select few that i knew could keep their mouth shut until the last second. (Lets call them Flower, Vine, and Tree.) Flower sits at the table with me and my friend. Vine sits at the table across from us and Tree sits at the third table. Their signal would be them ‘dropping’ their pen. Thats when they would tell the table to circle the answer UNDER the one Raven or her friends told them too. The plan went off smoothly. Afterward, at free period, i saw Raven trying to fact check off Water. Me and Wind see this, we were NOT happy campers. Keep in mind, I am VERY tough with a high pain tolerance and im not afraid to harm someone, Raven is aware of this and tries to avoid me if Im mad. She couldnt avoid this one. Me and Wind intervene. Our conversation went like this M: Mind explaining why your bothering Water, Raven? R: U-Uh... I was just asking him if i could use his calculator in math..!!! Math was first period so I instantly called her bluff. M: Really? Math is first period, and just so happens today we didn’t have homework.. R: I ment for tomorrow! M: How would you know if you needed it for tomorrow?? Raven had started backing off when Water chimed in Water: She wanted to try and get the social studies test answers from me. I came at Raven like a bomb. M: Now why would you try and get the answers when the test is said and done? Unless... you copied off one of us..! Raven ran off before Wind could say anything. Lets just say, When we were questioned about Raven accusing us of blaming her for cheating, Water told his side of the story. When the teachers didn’t buy it, I pulled out my phone and let them hear the plan come out of Ravens mouth. I openly admitted to assisting the class pass the test, but it wouldn’t be fair for the class to pay for Raven’s mistake. So the teachers let it slide. Allow me to say this, Raven wasnt allowed near Me, Wind and Water after ANY test for the remainder of the year. Raven, o-o-oh she didnt learn. She tried to copy my science fair project (a hovercraft) when a few kids in a lower grade said to the teachers watching me to make sure nothing went wrong, that there was a second hovercraft. They knew how to get the fake, I had told them that mine would most likely be able to hold an adult, Raven didnt know what i put on the bottom of my Hovercraft and her skirt couldn’t hold and adult. So, when the teachers said “How about you both give us a ride?” i agreed, as did Raven, thinking she followed me exactly, I turned my leaf blower on and the teacher is lifted right up, when Raven does it the “skirt” instantly pops. And the teachers failed Raven for copycating. Wind and Water had fun with my hovercraft. And on the steering showcase i ran into the chair, we joked about it for a bit saying that they would sue me for damage to the chairs. The rest of the year went well!

As a young Aussie lady with multiple sclerosis I'm in quarantine most of the time anyway, but having no immune system and being on immunosuppressive medicine makes me slightly worried.. Everytime I hear about somebody getting wrongly fired, they ALWAYS seem to find a better job with way better pay..... EVERYTIME, which tells me they are fake, because that doesn't happen here in the real world, that only happens in the movies or TV

I live in Cheltenham, and yeah a booking shop having to shut down during the Cheltenham Festival is a huge loss in business. In my hometown during that festival also known as Gold Cup causes a tonne of people to descend upon our town, all there for a good time to watch the races. It's a week of high numbers of customers and business for people in the town center and at the racecourse.

I'm actually very familiar with bubble scantrons in the third story. It was used since my entrance exam to middle school, finals, highschool exam and finals. Speaking of which, my finals are coming up next week too... Aight, I'll go study after I finish this

Generally, I enjoy this channel but you seem to repeat the same stories.

They could've taken that one step further, gone to the professor and said that they had circled wrong answers on purpose because they thought someone would try to copy them. Feel free to check their circled answer sheet and Douche's scantron and see if they match perfectly or not... I can't believe that even works. For anyone that's ever cheated on a test before, Did you ever just take every single answer at face value? Not a singe question that you can actually answer for yourself and get that "Hey, wait a minute.." moment?

I used to live in Cheltenham for 3 years. Can confirm everyone goes crazy for the races and for the time of the festival everything becomes about the races and even some pubs become stip clubs.

In the uk you need to give notice of disciplinary action and you are legally allowed to appeal. That was illegal - against employment law

In high school I got mad once because a kid who was rude would try to cheat off me. What I did to counter was I would very faintly mark my answer on my scan tron only and not on the test itself. Therefore only I could see what I ticked. Once finished I would quickly fill in the bubbles on the scan tron fully.

There is another way of doing what OP did in the last post. And it works with pretty much any type of test. Just bring in a pencil or one of those erasable pens, and you write in all the wrong answers. And when you make sure the person has finished copying, just erase all of it and write in the correct ones with a normal pen.

The final exam worth 75% of the grade was a multiple choice test? Is this common?

You know, if I knew for a fact that someone was going to cheat off of me, I'd call them out to the instructor loud enough to disrupt the exam, get everyone's attention, and wait for the offending party to get removed. Idk if that would work, since the only other times that have worked would have been in Lindsay Lohan teen dramas, but it would be satisfying if it worked IRL, especially with a witness.

A freind of mine had the same thing happen to him that happened in the first story. He worked at Walmart and got accused of stealing $500. He didn't, but they fired him. He was told this wouldnt get out. Unfortunately, it did. A manager (who is also his aunt) started telling his family about what happened, and anyone who would listen. She claims to have video footage of him doing it, but he had been told that they didnt have anything other than word from a manager. His aunt. Hes now in debt because they demanded payment for the missing money. With interest. Its been 3 years now.

This RU-vid channel is the whole reason why I accidentally pulled an all nighter.

The first story reminds me of the time I got fired from a gas station.. Background.. Manager brought in a friend of the family to work the store (where I worked) and we had some persistent issues with some petty theft (like missing cigarettes). The guy was lazy and generally made me do the undesirable stock work in the freezer when our shifts over-lapped (or it wouldn't get done) and I always suspected this was when he was stealing from the store.. thinking he could skim a bit since he knew the boss. Needless to say, I never stole a penny from that place, other than eating an old hot dog once in a while (only the unsold ones headed for the trash). Well, one day when I was working alone and closing.. my girlfriend stopped in to pick me up after work and I let her stay in the store after I locked up, while I was cashing-out the drawer and setting it up for the morning shift. If you don't know,.. you're supposed to leave a certain amount of cash in the register for the next shift, and ideally you leave Useful change.. like singles, a few $5s, maybe a $10, and coin change.. adding up to $100. Everything else is supposed to get dropped in the safe. This time,.. because of the nature of the sales that evening, I found I didn't have enough small bills available to leave $100 drawer, so instead of leaving a $20 for the next person, I got $20 in small bills off my GF and exchanged the $20 with her. More background.. I took a couple days off after that night because my Grandfather had just died so I wasn't returning their calls over that period. When I got back into work, the manger was there with the Regional manager and they accused me of theft. They say my unresponsiveness as a sign of guilt.. even though I came back in for my next shift. ??? They showed me the sales from that day and the drops to the safe, and told me the drawer was short.. they reviewed the video, and they claimed it showed me stealing from the drawer and giving it to some girl. Turned out, the drawer was actually over by some amount, but they didn't know how to subtract negative numbers. It's been more than 20 years ago now so I don't recall the exact details (involved the cash in the safe, the cash in the drawer, and the sales on the reg log).. but I do recall that I explained the situation to them (that I was getting change to leave a proper drawer), and I tried to teach them grammar-school-level arithmetic, but they wouldn't hear any of it. I believe they also brought up the missing Cigs too.. implying I'd had something to do with that as well. I ended up turning in my key and leaving.. but I figured at least I could enjoy the knowledge that the loser friend of the manager would probably keep on stealing from the store and that she'd have to grapple with why that was happening after I was no longer around to blame. :-)
