Our first road course of the season is the challenging and sweeping Infineon Raceway, today known as Sonoma Raceway. As one of those fancy European racers I'm hoping the inclusion of right turns will play to my strengths. Win number three incoming?

I don’t mind this victory by skipping the pits, it’s JUSTICE FOR ASH BAKER finally! This game has been brutal at times, you should be in the top 20!

Yeah that was something I very much had to get used to as usually it's not the case. Just needed to stay in my lane and wait for some spread.

Bizarre to see nearly the whole field pitting like that. Brought you back up to where you should have been though. Well driven race overall, not cheeky at all. Road course ringer knows how to look after his tyres. Even with five to go, you could have dropped your pace by 5 seconds a lap and still won comfortably. Congratulations! As your spotter said, "You're the man!".

Yeah as much as I love Sonoma, The Glen is my fave too. I want to absolutely do the business there without any strategy nonsense. 😂

Boris Said and Mike Skinner drove in Relief of Jerry Nadeau in the 01 car and both got poles! Also, from watching this I have NO clue why they pitted. But a Win is a Win Mr. Roadcourseringer

I'm being told Mark Martin's PR Team is looking to hire Ash Baker as a Puns Consultant. Ah, yes. Sonoma. Something I learned from here is that a) Fresh tires are king and 2) I hate using 1st gear. Probably something I carried from F1, but I usually only use 2nd. Helps save the rear tires from certain overheating and spinning and hitting walls. I guess the AI burn their tires more than you. Sad for them if they hired Italian strategists. W is a W, controversy be damned ... this can't be taken the wrong way, right?

When I retire from NASCAR, puns consultant is my calling. 😂 Sometimes I find it easier to find the traction and avoid spinning up from 1st oddly enough, but you're probably right that 2nd would be better for the tyres. "You all pit for tyres now, question?" And they all did. I'll take it and run. 😅
