Some DISCLAIMERS & APOLOGIES for this video:
1. Sorry about the sweat patches, it was intense 😅
2. My reaction (you know the one) still surprises me - I can't explain it even still, but here we are

3 laps in, going backwards I was thinking "Why are you bothering carrying on" 25 minutes later "You did it you crazy b*stard" Seriously great job.

At this point, nothing fills me with more dread than seeing "What can brown do for you?" on the car ahead.

Great job.. Daytona baby, yes! Man, I don't care what anybody thinks, I love motorsport and the people that do it are my heroes. These games are the closest most of us will ever get to feeling like our heroes, so it's only right that it can trigger the same emotion that real racing can. This stuff can be hard as hell too...enjoy the win 🏆

That sums it up nicely! When a game succeeds in immersing you, you feel it as though it were real, and I felt it. Thanks very much!

All that last lap I was shouting: YOU GOT IT! C'MON MAN! STAY IN HIS DRAFT AND WAIT FOR THE MOMENT! YOU GOT THIS! C'MON! YOU GOT IT! YOU GOT IT; YOU GOT ITTTTT!!!

I could hear my heartbeat in my ears coming through 3 and 4 that last lap. The game is over 20 years old yet it had me in a chokehold.

Spoilers: . . . . Unbelievable, that was beautiful! Funny thing this sim racing malarkey. It's stressful at times, but these moments make it all worth it sometimes :)

It properly caught me off guard in every way... Absolutely correct! And I think all the stressful and irritating moments make these ones all the better.

Oh, it's there again. The bleeping engine light. It keeps bringing me so many memories of engines that turned into atomic bombs. This one stressed me, I was begining to wonder "ok, how do we make this car faster? And how do I tell video Ash?". In the end it did not matter because car started moving up field at a rate so fast Ash didn't notice (and neither would have I were it not for the position number constantly having that effect) Then tape went up, pitlane shenanigans both happened and were avoided (excellent pit entry). I was partly hoping that you stayed on the draft, and if the engine went bang, it happens. But it stayed in one piece at least. And the prophecy fulfilled itself, road course followed by superspeedway. Back to back Wins. Looks like you got this whole superspeedway traffic figured out. Only things remaining are flat speedways (hello Chicagoland) and Talladega, which I hope is as excellent a drive as this one (although maybe with less engine induced panik)

The genuine surprise on my face when my crew chief tells me I'm in the top 20, the top 10, you're in 4th... for once it all went to plan, and I still can't quite believe it. And very happy to finally nail a pit entrance. Would be awesome to do it at Dega too!

This comment seems to have come through twice, but since it's good for the engagement, I will simply say, yes, indeed, and couldn't agree more. 😎😂
