Yep, can confirm you don't need much, ( i regret taking some things i didnt use! lesson learnt) It was sooooo hot in gear when heading to demo rides! Nice to meet you and have a little chat, thanks for taking the time.

i do giggle at people who over pack at festivals, i think there an element of 'how much gear i can load onot my bike'. There's this guy that lives rent free in my head who had all his gear in a lidi plastic bag.
I packed lighter than some, but I was freezing for the first couple of nights! (I did the VIP Thursday thing). I also had 5G signal up on the hill. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried to use it it changed to E which I can only assume means Extremely slow. I blame the robots in the sky. I saw the Vodafone HQ just down the road. You'd think as a matter of pride they'd have sorted something.
The first night was cold! It’s a strange feeling to be snuggled up and so comfortable in a tent but still feel chilly. Apparently normally the phone signal works there so I guess ABR is so packed that it jams everything. Starlink is introducing a mini version so soon we will all have portable wifi, the future is good
