I travel alone for a reason. People are mostly annoying to hang around, but interesting to observe from a distance. 😆 Loving your personality and the style of your videos. Good luck with your next adventures, Liz!
well done Liz, 💐👍, great stuff , I enjoyed your video's very much, looking forward for your next journey,🏍️🏍️, have a great time back home 🏡 and enjoy your cheese ,🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀, Gordon from Scotland,💐🏍️😎🏴👍
Thanks Liz for the series and I like the less polished stuff like this video, it for me is more relatable. You have given this old chuffed inspiration to get out there and have a go. Cheers.
My Son's bike wouldn't start when we came to get off the IOM Ferry to the TT. He pushed the fully loaded 750 Gixa up a very steep and long ramp on a hot day holding up everyone behind him (no pressure 😂) When he eventually got to the top, the Local constabulary officers tried to get the bike going and were arguing amongst themselves what the problem could have been without success while we watched on. They eventually gave up, I pushed the start button and it started with a cheer from the cops. Stick to the day job lads😊. Great video Liz 👍
Hahaa that’s so awkward! I think ferry’s often have jump kits as this passenger on my crossing was offered a jump but luckily his bike started - similarly with my bike - many years ago, it had some problems but after resting and probably cooling down on the boat it started again on the other side (then promptly cut out on the off ramp)
Ferry food advice, always leave it at least 45 mins after you set off, they often sell what they cooked on way in to get rid but typically in Europe leaving it a bit they have to chuck it and then it’s fresh and way better #ifeeloldwithsuchknowledge
Hi really enjoyed the tour thank you pinky deserves a extra pat on the tank just proved if your good enough you don't need a adventure bike for adventure tour on what you ride thanks again ride safe liz
Well done Liz😊 An interesting trip to share with us, I really enjoyed all the Videos. Plenty of respect to you for all the successful organising and above all doing it mostly alone. Thats quite an achievement. Lots of lovely birdsong in the background on this one🐦🐦⬛ No anxious mention of the chain on this trip😂 must of had plenty of lube with all that rain. Thanks for Iceland insights and experiences. Cheers.
Good to see you come full circle and both get back safe. Looking forwartd to your next big adventure, the good thing about the UK, it nearly always involves a ferry 😊
Thanks Liz, great episode and a great adventure. Nearly spat my tea out at the 4:30 mark😂. Not sure where to suggest for your next adventure. In one video you said you never wanted to see snow ever again, but now it makes you happy. Italy, Lake Como and maybe find a new a new Italian friend for Pinky?
It all depends where you are in the queue. When our mates rsv4 wouldn't start at Douglas we knew before we boarded, so we got him to free wheel down to the boarding ramp but he still had to push it up on his own. 😂 steam packet jump started him to get him off the boat. Hopefully their banter was humorous or he was crying over nothing. Video was sketchy but better than I could do when knackered ❤️
Hi, you are pretty lucky with the timing of the trip to Iceland. Soon after you left, winter came back with a bang. Massive snow storms for days in the beginning of June.
@@R1_Liz There was certainly no riding weather in large parts of the country. Not even driving in cars in many parts while it was going on. Roads close down. So I really hope there were no riders out there. Hopefully they followed the updates and warnings. It is important in Iceland. The conditions are so unpredictable and quick to change. I am glad you got a some really nice days in may. You never know.
Not knowing the circumstances, did they know he had a problem. I'd say they're not friends. However he got back fine no point making a big thing about it, it would just ruin it for yourself.
Hi grumpy Liz 😠, only joking! Hope you're kebab didn't get to soggy in the rain - food and drink in one, kids and long queues i wouldn't of been smiling either, some of that rain was brutal, glad you got back safely, hope your service isn't a mortgage job. Take care, Best wishes from Roy 😊.
Front n/s mudguard looks like it’s cracked ?, nice fast track last video of the epic trip. You could do with doing a track day to round the tyres off after so much motorway riding, back tyres getting squared off badly, and do my ocd a favour and get pinky a really good vallet, I would love to see her all shiny and not covered in crap,. I can’t see you getting away for much less than £1500 for this trip, looking forward to the next trip, what’s the iridium film on the headlights ? Looks truck, cheese shortage in France now, someone’s bought all the “ monks road cheese”, ! Cheers,.
The front mudguard is cracked and this is also the reasoning behind the headlight film - after I bought Pinky I hit a sheep head on, some things were damaged but nothing bad enough to need expensive repairs - the mudguard is wonky, the headlights are glued in the middle and the film hides a small crack. I’ll get her cleaned I promise!
