Love that the charging port has moved to the rear. Would've loved to see the R3 take it one step even further with the frameless windows and delete the B-pillar too.

Finally a Model Y rivalry. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS OVER THE MODEL Y. This need to hit the market ASAP. R2 and R3 will probably be the #1 selling EV in America if the price is right.

I will reserve an R3X as soon as it’s available. This is the first EV I am Interested in and I’m thankful to see an indirect lineage of VW Golf/GTI carry into new iconic brands.

The R3 rear wiper, if that could be hidden like Kia and Hyundai have done on some of their models. Its hidden at the top of the rear windshield.

R2 and R3 are gonna sell like crazy. Rivian is honestly the one company I would buy from(if I had the money) over Tesla. The R2 is doable for me, but that R3 is so cool!😍 That said the R1S quad max is a thing of beauty!

Serious note- release the Amazon Delivery van as a 4x4 with decent range to the public. No one has anything like that for #vanlife folks and small businesses. The R3 is awesome- Id love to see a pickup version as well.

They’re all masterpieces. They all scream strong intelligent and forward thinking individual.

Unanswered questions: 1) Spare Tire (a repair kit does not cut it). We have two friends/family members with recent flat tires on their EVs that the repair kit could not repair. Flatbed tow and long delay resulted. (Not good if you are out of cell service area.) Then more wait to secure the proper replacement tire. Please, offer a spare tire, even as an option. 2) Tow hitch with 2" receiver. We don't want to tow anything, but we do need a bike rack that can handle two heavy e-bikes (50-80 lbs each) with fenders and large tires . Something like 2.5M e-bikes sold in the US the past 3 years. The bike rack industry only recently solved this problem (e.g. Colorado's QuikRStuff), and major companies such as Thule and Yakima still do not have a the perfect solution for e-bikes. Rivian's "bike mount" for the R2 (shown on their website), looks laughable for securing the millions of e-bikes Americans are purchasing - especially given the failed attempts by bike rack manufacturers.

Rivian! These are amazing. Listen to me. Listen to me please. If your point is to push adventure. Get the interior down in luxury. Focus on recycled materials making up most of the interior. Get standard materials used by other car makers and get the price down. If you can get a sub 30k R3 model out quickly with a simplified interior and no self driving you will literally be big competition. Do not focus on the people paying big bucks for gas powered cars. That doesn’t translate to electric the people who want to go electric i feel are often wanting to do it because of COST! So get a sick low cost car out NOW!
