Is the 48 degree block really better than the 59 degree block? Everyone says that the valve train is more vulnerable with the 59 degree lifter angle.

59 deg block, 59 deg Indy heads and yes standerd 59 deg lifters but the rockers are off set as you can see in the vid. also oil through push rods.

What head is being used? Is that a 59* degree lifter? Also are you using offset lifters?

wow thats a tuff mopar, im guessing seeing the solid roller cam that its the 48 degree block short deck heght, and w2 heads?

It is a 59° Block and they are fully worked Indy heads Massive power but if I was to build one again it would be the 48° block

Yes this R3 engine has roller lifters but not without extensive machine work, the 59* block is not machined for rollers but the 48* block is. It cost me more money to set this engine up for rollers than it would have cost to buy the 48* block and all other costs that come with that block, plus the vale geometry with the 48* block is much better.

Good for you ... a baby Mopar, extremely dangerous to law abiding citizens, and pedestriand. Drive with caution, and " attempt" to stay within the law. Nice rocker arms!
