No thank you legend i dont even have a skyline but it is great knowing all of this in fact i currently have a xr5 turbo with the volvo 2.5l 5cld and a k04 turbo and im making 230kw i was wondering if you guys can possibly do a video about the Volvo engine maybe hahah or even make a brace for it so i can chace large numbers hahah thanks guys

@@zyoungson215 not surr on the vq25 but im fair sure the vq35hr is possibly the samr but not 100% on the vq35de though

@@zyoungson215 because it's not critical, they're a want not a need and I have the spare funds, hence "impulse buy" as click and purchase sales often are. I already make great power as is, with no ignition break down. But, that cop set up looks trick, will free up some space, are better coils plus I will no longer need ht leads.

Deterioration dumbass. Materials deteriorate over time especially from constant temperature changes. Expansion, contraction and thermal degradation. Mechanical components experience the same along with deterioration caused by friction.

My guess would be because that's what people want to see and technically a Barra beats both RBs and JZs for cost versus performance hence why a lot of people use them in Australia but in a global economy the rest of the world uses RBs or JZs :)

@@Fridgemusa barras can't rev over 6000rpm and they sound like washing machines. You can't even compare them to a Rb20.

My assumption - Andrew is a Nissan enthusiast, has been forever. You don't own a GTR and then put a 2JZ in it etc, plus in Australia the RB is a lot more common than JZ. We have the 20/25/26/30 etc so the RB is not hard for parts in Australia. I'm sure Andrew would have his own input but that would be my best guess. He's a Nissan enthusiast, always has been, and he has never said the RB is superior to the JZ series - it's just that what his cars have, and some people also just hate the idea of having a JZ in a Nissan (i put a barra in a nissan and people hate it)

Because it's all about LS's, RB's, and JZ's bruh. Don't you know? All other engines are trash. jk

Because you can swap out for an sr20 which is better in almost every way

@@zyoungson215 The major problems with the CA18DET are that it likes to eat bearings and I've heard some people saying that they've had some problems with oil starvation on the head but both of them are relatively easy to fix. Its not like the SR doesn't have it's problems either. *cough...breaking rocker arms...cough*
