Underbelly protection is a must, especially one of the lowest points on the truck, which is the lower control arms. Skid plates on the LCAs will save them from taking a hard hit on rocks and bending them. These have a front and rear plate to protect the LCA front rocks oncoming or when in reverse. They are also cut perfectly to work with all skid plates, including the OEM TRD Pro skid plate. The best part is that they match the color of the TRD Pro skid plate, also available in a textured black finish.
The hardware used is stainless steel hardware to resist rust. Stainless steel is prone to galling (seizing up). Please use some kind of automotive lubricant like WD-40 on bolt threads before installing the nuts. Do NOT use an impact driver to install hardware. Please hand tighten with a wrench or ratchet.
