I'm pretty sure it'll be because of the raptor fuel pump. It needs the R6 one. Other issues could include the airbox delete and the short mufflers which might be leaning out the bike past the ECU's closed loop parameters. ECU might not have the capability to adjust to that extreme, especially if its -10 out. They adjust to cold climates etc.

That thing will be sick once you get the tuning sorted out 👍🏽

What I love about it is you're able to keep all the stock plastics and gas tank I see a lot of guys swapping out for whatever bike they got the motor out of gas because the frames hacked up to fit the motor on top instead of underneath.

The problem is the raptor 700 fuel system trying to pump the r6

Airboxes are very important with motorcycles. As soon as you remove the stock airbox, you absolutely require re- jetting, or tuning on fuel injection models! I've had this same issue many times!

That’s badass, only thing I would’ve done differently is made the exhaust a little longer and angled them down facing the rear tires.

It sounded like it was lean and wouldn't rev out under load. It could be a missing a sensor or just needs to be tuned since it now has a short exhaust providing less scavenging and more flow, but I doubt it since EFI is very forgiving in my experience. Maybe test for intake leaks on the throttle bodies and make sure someone didn't cap off a hose they shouldn't? You could also check if it has any codes, it will likely have a couple from things that were removed. California bike's often have extra stuff that can cause problems, like the air injection/PAIR system that could cause this if not capped off properly. Maybe also check that you are getting enough fuel, it looks like you swapped tanks and the pump is usually in the tank. I'm not sure that pump is enough for those injectors. Get a power commander, plug in a laptop, and you should be able to add fuel where it falls flat until it improves. It will also tell you if your TPS sensor is working properly. If it surges, give less fuel there. I've usually been able to get bikes running decent with street tuning, but it will never be perfect without an o2 sensor and a log or rolling road. There should be a tune that you can download to have a better starting point. It looks like it may already has a piggyback tuner under the seat? Be sure to update the firmware.

It sounded like an ignition issue for sure. Maybe a bad coil? Check the temperature of each exhaust pipe just after where it exits the engine and make sure your not losing fire in a cylinder. Also could be a float if the engine is tipped at all. Might need to clock the carbs somehow to get the bowls to fill properly? Just spitballing... Kick Azz Build!! Going to look up CBOYS and sub!

I had a bike bogging on me yesterday just because the connection on the ignition coil wasn't tight enough. I checked the intake, carb, fuel and compression.. just not strong enough spark. Can't wait to see the 2T-R6!

I think it is the exhaust , there is reasons that they design the headers the way they do , and by running two cylinders together out each side instead of all four into a collector and then out , I'm thinking that there is NO Back Pressure at all or very little and it is really throwing everything off and not allowing the engine to Rev like it normally would . This is my thoughts on it , but really cool that you guys swapped it 👍 But my money is on the Exhaust being your major problem .

its definetly because of that exhaust, you need a certain amount of back pressure in the system for capturing unburnt fuel to then burn

When I did my r1 raptor build I had to flash tune the ECU with a track tune. It gets rid of all the emissions controls that were deleted in the build. It also helps the ECU cope with some of the sensors being gone. There were also sensors that I had to buy a sensor delete device. It tricks the computer into thinking the sensor is still there but it's not.
