Rab Mythic G Down Jacket 

how do you like the zero g? Im worried about the massive pocket openings. If i want to warm my hands it looks like gotta open up the massive front pockets and letting out all the heat

Hi there, the Mythic G features our TILT heat reflective technology, which adds extra warmth for no noticeable weight , whereas the Zero G did not have this. The Mythic G is also lighter (277g men's M vs 310g men's M Zero G)

Regardless, i agree somewhat with your statement - but if you were CEO of this company, you would most likely find the cheapest solution while still obtaining a high standard of excellence. The truth is, capitalism reigns supreme, and companies need to stay competitive in this over-saturated market.

Hi there, Over 900FP, it isn't possible to treat the down with NikWax unfortunately, hence why the 1000FP Mythic G does not feature this

Hi Rachel, it has some quite technical specifications in terms of the ultralight face fabric and 1000FP goose down which is not hydrophobically treated which may make it less suited to casual wear. It is designed to be worn underneath a waterproof shell in adverse conditions however!

@@RabEquipment okay… wouldn’t plan to wear in wet or rough conditions but moreso as a layer to hang around since I get cold easily. Not sure if less durable than a cotapaxi or other down puffy as far as that goes

Hi there, it would really depend on what model of jacket you were comparing it to. Being an ultralight jacket it does have a thinner face fabric to save weight. You might find something like our Electron Pro jacket to be similarly warm, but more suited to your requirements.

⁠@@RabEquipmenthi guys so I have a similar question , I’m trying to decide between this or the electron pro as I understand it the electron pro is bulkier warmer and more weather proof. Whereas this is a slim mid layer that packs a punch easy to carry tiny when packed away But not as warm as the electron ? Would that be correct ? I can’t find comparisons anywhere
