Performing a test of a heavy touring tire change for a Kawasaki Concours 14 (1400GTR). Removed a Pirelli Angel GT (A Spec) with over 12,000kms on it and installed a new Dunlop RoadSmart IV both in 190/55ZR17
This was my second time using the Rabaconda changer so I'm still pretty green but was able to change this tire in about 12 minutes despite my mistakes.
Apologies for the letterbox video format. Still new at this and working on getting my layout correct.

Nice job with that one, C-14 rear tires are a complete pain in the dinkus to change. When I had my C-14 I used a NoMar and a LOT of lube and swearing (Ok that just sounds wrong LOL). I would suggest getting a few Drop Center tools, they make it much easier. :) Thanks for the video, I just ordered my Rabaconda, looking forward to using it :)

at 5:00 - Put the tire iron in at 6 o'clock instead and you can use the bead breaker to hold the tire in the channel

Thanks Brian. It does work well when the proper technique is followed. Most of the fumbling and awkwardness isn't the machine, it's the user I'm sad to say... just need a little more practice. Need a tire changed? ;)

Use tyre lube to help dismount the tyre, makes it much easier.

Awesome performance!!! Thanks for sharing your experience! For second time of using it, very stiff side wall tire and no lube when dismounting - excellent result! By the way, how many miles / km had the old tire?

You need to lube up the tire, rim and duck head. It would have slid around a lot easier. Good video though thanks

I'm buying one, I have a Yamaha Bolt R-Spec and my local shop charged me $221 for labor alone for changing out the rear tire. 3 tire changes and the tool pays for itself.

Not sure how it will work with smaller tires yet. I swapped the 12" tires on my daughter's scooter with spoons shortly before I got this so they won't need doing for awhile. Pretty sure it won't collapse small enough to fit a 10" wheel.
