Hat happens to Charles noooo I’m on vacation what happened I missed the best race of t he year I really love this track I can’t believe I missed it so sad
From the amount of memes that was done for Mazepin.. I believe we all must raise our hats in respect for his sake. It's Monaco and he didn't even touch a barrier.
Agreed. Mazepin actually didn't perform terribly and thus I didn't join in my friends meme voting him as DotD... Will surely do it in Baku though if he gets back racing like he usually does
FIA rules from 2019 regarding Seb. 1.Ignore Vettel (TOTALLY) when he's doing well. 2.Focus and highlight everything about Vettel when he's NOT doing well.
When it is always him that have the issue you cant blame the others if they think mercedes did that purposely to him compared to the other side of the garage
FIA rules from 2019 regarding Seb. 1.Ignore Vettel (TOTALLY) when he's doing well. 2.Focus and highlight everything about Vettel when he's NOT doing well.
IMO Lando’s wave was likely a ‘thank you’ and nothing more. He knows things can get messy when instructions are given to pass teammate, i.e. Bottas and Hamilton last week, and appreciated Ricciardo being civil.
@@aabhushanadhikari599 yeah but McLaren told him to make sure not to hold him up, so he probably made it a lot easier and lost more time himself to make sure lando didn't loose anything
@@audioamateur no its not.the track broadcasts the live feeds from all cameras to the directors of each station, who then decide what to show. Many tv stations share the same stream but not all from different countries so thats why it varies
Better was Charles hugging his ferrari crew after getting out of the car and also coming and hugging Sainz at the end of the race and you could see how much the Ferrari crew loves Charles.
If you go back to that point in the replay, you can hear Max applying max throttle, as if he were warming up his tires. That slide was 100% intentional, and shows how confident he was in the car.
Things that happened today. - No Get in there Lewis - Seb in p5 (Happy noises) - Sainz first Ferrari Podium - Dani Ric getting lapped - Charles still hasn't completed a Monaco race - No Mazepin comments here Things that happened and are in the comments because i forgot - No Mercedes on Podium - RedBull leading the Driver and Constructor Championship - Bottas another DNF without his fault
@@jeffreylebowski2440 so, you think that weird incidents which always go in favor of LH are just coincidence? Just pure luck? Because nobody has that much luck. If that was really random luck, he should stop driving. And start playing lotto. He'll win every week. He's the luckiest man in the world. Whenever he makes a mistake for the past 6 years, somehow his closest opponent has an accident or something similar. Nobody is that lucky. If you believe in that amount of luck then there's nothing else to talk about here.
@@pyron4913 i mean technically speaking it isn't possible to finish a race a person didn't start, hence a DNS would imply a DNF, but then one could also argue that all of us DNF every race meticulous detail aside the original comment holds a valid point
You are almost right. The only wrong thing ist leclerc didn't have bad luck, he damaged the car in his crash yesterday and today the driveshaft failed, it's not bad luck when it's you own fault. But I'm not saying he crashed on purpose it was clearly a racing incident.
Highlight of the race was laughing at Serena William’s trying to wave a flag. You’d think she could master a one handed flag wave in seconds but instead opted for hitting the flag with a two handed back hander.
@@michael.dennis Well in fact she is also a joke as a professional tennis player. If youve seen her play, everytime she loses, she starts crying and calls the referee racist or pulls the motherhood card.
Poor Bottas. Even when he performs well, something bad happens to him. I mean how on earth is possible that Hamilton almost never has a technical failure?
Because both cars of a team are never the same. 1st driver always has priority over the 2nd, with pit stops, car upgrades, budget, everything. That's why ricciardo, a monaco grand prix winner, was lapped by his teammate today
I bet you anything that Lando hand gusture to Daniel was more of a "Sorry mate but i need te get through" rather than "Take that" Lando is not that type of guy.
@@23236638 ok every driver makes mistake Hamilton made in Imola verstappen made in Bahrain when he overtook on the outside . I would say this is his first mistake in 5 races compared to 2019 and 2020 his mistakes have come down especially when it happened in emotionally charging home Grand Prix I am sure in Baku ( next race) he will be more cautious and try to come back and get a best possible top5 finish . Usually he qualifies p4 and I am sure this year his mistakes will be lesser than previous seasons
I can kind of understand the frustration from Hamilton on the radio with all the adrenaline surging through his body, but after the race during interviews he was still salty AF. Mercedes has made a car for him that allowed him to get 6 world titles, four of them were quite easy. Too many times when he's not in front, he'll start complaining and blaming the team.
So. Not. True. ... I mean, come on man. What world are you living in? He's one of the best athletes the world has ever seen, and you expect him to not push his team? Apart from Toto he's the leader, and he is ALWAYS inclusive of his team in victories, and owns up to his own mistakes, when he on occasion makes them. I am NOT a Hamilton fan, but I can recognize what constitutes a leader, and what doesn't.
I don't like the man but I never understand people who think he should never say anything negative. They overruled his decision and made him pit when his tires were fine and he asked them why was he saving tires if he was going to pit. And we have seen him be cheerful and not whiny when he fights from the back this year and last year. I think it is fair to criticize your team's decisions when they overrule you and fail. He should not be held to standards that others are not held to, he has the right to criticize.
@@jonasion ah common man he is a bit salty. And yeah he blames the entire team. But he forget that he is a member of the team also. It is not correct to react like that.
As another Ferrari fan, I can only tell you that you need to go back in the 70's to Brabham to see a team finishing 2nd in the constructors, slumping to a backmarker place (8th for them, 6th for Ferrari) and then producing a competitive car in 3 seasons, so while as all of us Tifosi are disappointed for Charles, we need to take pride in the work the team has done in the past 12 months or so, to have a second place and wonder what could have been!
Attention should go to Sainz. Leclerc is no victim here. He made a mistake and damaged his car. Leclerc is an exceptional driver, but when he has to deliver he tends to fail. Now Sainz had a great performance and everyone keeps whining about Charles. So unfair!
2008 : Vettel gets no points in the first four races and finishes fifth in Monaco. 2021 : Vettel gets no points in the first four races and finishes fifth in Monaco.
@@sandroloacker6166 2008 and 2021 alonso moves to renault from mclaren after being angry at the team for some reason and still no longer performs as he usually does, Hamilton becomes WDC.
Race: *Gasly and Vettel going wheel to wheel* Race director: let’s show Lance jumping over the sausage curb Race: *about to show Gasly and Vettel wheel to wheel again* Race director: let’s show Perez’s pitstop instead
I can't imagine what Riccardo is going through, getting lapped on one of your strongest circuits right after your teammate signed a long term deal. That is really rough.
@@stratman9449 well...... it's strange how LH opponents (even teammates) have strange problems: - In 2020 every time LH would be penalized or his car damaged, Verstappen would also have problems with his car - In Silverstone 2020, when Verstappen should have won, they called him for a tire change in the last lap, and LH won the race - When young Russell was given LH's car, his own team had to slow him down, not once but TWICE, otherwise Russell would have won - When LH makes a mistake and spins out, either Bottas or someone from Williams crash, so that Safety Car is deployed to compress the queue - But if LH leads the race, and something bad happens on the track, they usually deploy Virtual Safety Car, which preserves the distance between cars - And finally, even Bottas is not allowed to come close to LH in the number of points, so that it wouldn't look like Mercedes is a superior car
@@OMGitsPARAJ after everyone ahead of him decided to pit, he didn’t.. he used up the clear air ahead to push enough to build a gap which allowed him to gain on three people after his stop. The decision to pit later than others was the strategy. Gasly reacted to Hamilton’s stop to avoid the undercut. Hamilton being held up by Gasly after his stop gave Vettel some clear air and a chance to pass both of them after his stop. Perez used all this to his advantage.
I wasn't able to see the race, can someone tell me how Perez fell behind Norris even though he was ahead in third place at some point? I figured both of them would have done their pit stops and Perez would have stayed in the lead
Like a wise youngster once said " He is such a sore loser! ". Hamilton, whenever something goes wrong immediately blames something or gets angry instead of trying to find a solution.
Yeah. 7 world titles. Achieved by being carried by Mercedes and been given the most reliable and fastest car. Yesterday it just didn't go his majesty's way and all of a sudden he throws the team under the bus. Not very appreciative, is it?
Hamilton crying because for ONE race he doesn’t have the fastest car and best strategy. And his teammate had “misfortune” happen to him again...what a surprise.
When Hamilton is winning he always knows the political correct lines like “we doing this as a team”, when he loses “no its definitely the team”. It’s both sides really
@@Akash_Tyagi_93 most drivers are they've got a huge passion to win, loads of other drivers do it but you dont hear them because they dont put it on the tv, max does the exact same thing.
He was correct though. It was a miscalculation by the team to pit when they did. There is no way to overtake on this track, so pit strategy is all you get.
@@glauxde4246 that's why he's got seven titles and bottas hasn't even got one, bottas is a boring passionless driver he doesn't have that killer instinct that hamilton or max possesses, max kicks off all the time as well but nobody has a go at him for it.
@@cryptidian3530 Agreed. His upbringing story is very motivational, but aside from that, watching Mercedes dominate most of the season for seven to eight years is just flat-out boring. Hope he retires from F1 next year to pursue a triple crown at Indy and Le Mans...anything to get him out of the paddock. And you know he wants to be up there with Graham Hill.
Lewis is a joke. Hope he gets countless DNFs from here on out. He’s the worst champion. His hair is pathetic too. Trying to turn this sport into a gangster sport.
Bottas being unlucky once again. It is really hard for one to be bottas. He never complains like lewis did today even at distress. He is one strong soul.
Since when is driving an entire weekend without incident so noteworthy? Hard to believe as it may be that is what is expected from a professional driver on a regular basis ..... the fact that it is so out of the ordinary for Mazepin says everything about him
No heartbreak for Hamilton, he's a loser. We all saw what happened when Russell drove in the Mercedes and proved its dominance. And now that he feels verstappens breath in his neck his starting to get annoyed like a little child.
Exactly!! Not sure why people don't discuss him! What a solid driver, what a great bright drive!!! Sainz deserves WAAAAYYYY more recognition and coverage, Formula 1.

@@chrisjones720 it's none sense. With the price of Ric they wouldn't be giving him a worse car. They are both the same car, just that one had 2-3, years to practice and have the car developed around him and Carlos while Ric is given a car not suited to his style. So he has to learn how to drive the car like the car wants to be driven.
