They claim to be "Lighter" than their natural color.. which in itself is a different issue that perhaps borders on being rooted in mental deficiencies, insecurity or some false need to change your appearance to "progress"..however, regardless of which it is... colorism comes into effect with Skin Bleaching... because Lighter skin or darker skin black people.. all experience the same biases and discrimination because they are under the category of being black.
