Superb, elegant, just great. So many times this becomes a jumble of noise but the phrasing and emphasis (and a slight slower tempo) combined for an incredible performance. Reminded of the great classical playing of old.
The views will come! This is a bravo in every respect. The playing is masterful. But, oh! The room! And the stunning Steinway with its gorgeous wood and cabinetry, simple yet truly 'grand'. The stone room surprises with the perfect acoustic reverberation. And Serge's music, to boot!💐
