That out of tune A sounds deliciously gnarly!
@sebastianbaynes9452

In a weird way, the imperfect tuning kinda improves the overall experience for me, it reminds you that it is a mere mortal hitting the keys and creating the music - and your playing is absolutely breathtaking!!

It is more human, more mortal, more magic. Doesnt sound like midi

Great tempo. It makes the sound not blur unlike most performances by others. The tempo also helps me learn.

I agree. A lot of perfromers play this and try to wow by their speed, but if you don't give the notes enough decay and 'dying space' (if there's such a thing), it just sounds all too muddy! My perfect bar for this is Byron Janis, the tempo and execution I've heard in his recordings, to me are perfect! But well done dude, this is still awesome!

wohoo. he's playing the orchestra and piano parts together at 2.50 ! That was a shocking moment for me:) Bravo for your overall performance. Piano was out of tune but it's a steinway. A weird combination tough:):)

The out of tune A gives off a menacing tone, it's pretty sweet

You -most certainly- deserve a better tuned piano as well as a better recorded device. Superb rubatos and masterful articulation...
@Pfalz_Inferno
@Pfalz_Inferno Год назад
The recording device is the problem, not the piano itself. Steinway & Sons is one of the highest quality pianos ever built.

Thank you Heegan :) I am very attached to the cadenza of Rachmaninov 3. I like both versions equally, altough I've seen that most of the live performance I attended, interpreters choose mostly this one, the Ossia, maybe because its perhaps longer.

is in fastmotion, clear fake video, from min 1.56 is VERY VERY CLEAR, at 2.25 the fakery is ridiculous:: piano solo is in fastmotion, with orchestra is a rec of horowitz i suppose

Lol the beginning sounded like something out of game of thrones. It’s supposed to be piano and the last chord is a g minor half diminished.
