Great video Seth. A good reminder to keep going. October 1st I had a really bad cycling crash. A pickup truck on the wrong side of the road. I suffered 3 broken ribs, one in 3 spots,a concussion...had my helmet on, cracked collar bone and dislocated shoulder. I September I had gotten in 502 miles of cycling. I was starting to come back with walking/jogging and some cycling. June 5th I had a heart attack. June 14th a second heart attack. The Surgeon installed in defibrillator in my left shoulder. So "Old Sparkie" and I are healing and recovering right now. 🙏

Hell yeah good luck Seth!! My training has been lackluster with life recently. But I’ll be in Leadville next weekend for the Silver Rush 50. Onward and Upward buddy!!

I was doing the Leadville marathon today when Seth blows by running brutal uphill to Mosquito past, 5 minutes later he come flying by again down hill! I knew he was gonna win the Leadville Heavy half (15 miles) then. Congrats Seth awesome running

I am going into early October for the Long Beach Half Marathon. I was going to do the full but my ankle forced me to stop running for 2 months at the beginning of the block. I want to get a 1:30 half, but we'll see.

I am in my valley now, got surgery at my Achilles two weeks ago after years of bone growth/tendinosis. Now I have at least 3 months before I can start jogging a little bit. But this valley will be a good investment to come back to run pain free again in the future

QOD:Next and first race of 2024 is July 27th for me. I’m running the Honor America Days 5k in Rome NY which saw top 3 finishing time under 16 minutes last year. Coming off of back to back setbacks that started in December and kept me from racing in the spring, I am pumped to toe the line in a few weeks and let it rip. Hoping for sub 6 min pace for the first race of the year which would put me in a good starting point for something faster in the fall.
