I bought a 6700 Xt nitro for $560, it was more important to me the less wattage consumption rather than a 10% (at best) increment in performance, besides that where i live we reach 45°C in summer so the extra heat from the x50 variant its not worth at all for me.
Actually, IMHO when comparing to 6700XT, the 6750XT performance is not woth the extra +30W which makes 6700XT much more energy efficient card.. which is big plus considering rising electricity prices here in Europe
I'm buying the gigabyte version gaming oc. I'll be playing in mainly 1080p. Certain titles weren't going past the 60 fps on full Ultra settings using my 5600 xt gaming oc, and might raytrace a bit for fun
I got a RX570 8GB nitro+ sapphire; actually, I don't need anything else. my card runs everything that I currently play, SHOULD I wait for a 6750 XT to lower from 429.99 *MSI version cost 100 less than the Nitro+* . Any recomendations? - buy now or wait for next year? 🥰🥰🥰
Suggestion for New Video: take a look at replacing/fixing VRM/chipset fans on motherboards. Recently, I bought an Asus X570-I motherboard. Out of the box, that fan was so loud and annoying that I immediately disassembled the PC and returned the board. I replaced it with an Asus B550-I motherboard, which was fine. I switched back to my normal sized Asus X570 Crosshair VIII Hero and now that board's fan is starting to go bad (grindy, crackly sound). I looked around and can't find anything on the internet about replacement fans (and since they're positioned immediately below the graphics cards, they've got to be precise). I chatted with Asus technical support and they flat out told me they don't sell the fans and I'd have to RMA the board to get it fixed. I told them what I thought about that. Anyway, if you could do a video on the topic, I'd appreciate it. Surely, someone, somewhere has figured out some way to fix/replace these horrible things.
Nice review, is a shame, this particular card (UK Market) is available for 650 GBP, and 3070Ti (a lot stronger card) You can buy for 630 GBP... Bad price policy... 500GBP is max i can pay for it.
Glad I got my XFX 6700 XT nearly two months ago from Newegg for $549. It's $20 cheaper now, but that's not really all that much after two months of gaming out of it so far.
Heya, Thats perfect Ill be in the market to replace my GTX 1070 in a couple more months. Im upbeat about playing Metro Exodus and Mechwarrior 5. New sub here, keep em coming BigT,Alaska
Got ma a 2 month old like brand new Nitro+ RX 6700 xt. Has still 22 months warranty. The original owner got it new for 599$, sold it to. Me for 400$ cause he needed a stronger card for his job. I'm so stoked. It's so cool quiet and powerful. I have no need to upgrade till Radeon 9000 or rtx 60. Used to have a gtx 1080 and that one was a good but... Had to have more than 120FPS warzone. Warzone is so badly optimized, but now I have 200+fps. Hope warzone 2 will not suck as caldera and be better optimized for 240hz or more...
I got burned trying to get a 6800 XT at MSRP for so long that I’ve lost interest. I’ll wait for the 7000 series. Until then, I’ll continue to deal with my HDMI audio dropping and cutting in and out since day one I got my 5700 over two years ago.
@@rikipatel4340 I’ve never had any problems with video. But yeah since around the time I got one when it came out I’ve had audio dropping all the time. I always have to mute Windows and unmute it and it’ll come back but not for long. Some games it’s worse, some games it doesn’t happen as frequent. Anything using WASAPI like movies on Netflix will cut in and out all the time. I thought it was a driver issue but after a year realized it was a hardware issue. Nothing helps, different HDMI cable, different HDMI input on my receiver, DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, DisplayPort to HDMI cable. Nothing else has this problem, just my RX 5700, I can’t stand it. One more year when the 7000 series comes out I hope I can get one.
the 6700 and 6750 are good performers but the 3070 is better in every aspect, the reality is if the market was normal and 3070's could be had for msrp or close to it those 2 cards would be redundant
considering most 6700xts are now going for around £550-600 for me on amazon and a 3070 is still £850-950, ill take a 10% drop if it means cheaper and more VRAM. 3070 has no place in the current games and up coming games with its 8GB VRAM
"3070 is better in every aspect" Except in Doom, and far cry 6, and a few others at 4k it literally gets around 20-30fps due to lack of Vram. While the 6700xt is at 60. The frame times are also worse, and the 6700xt is a smoother experience. It's due to a lack of ram. 8gb isn't enough anymore. 3070 also uses way more power than the 6700xt, WAY more power. 6700xt Red dead - "176 watts" 3070 - "259 watts" Also Amds RSR is better than their GPU scaling built into the control panel. With that said, there are a handful of games where it gets more fps as well. That trend will continue, most certainly as games start to use more ram when the more "next gen" titles are relased. It's not better in every aspect by any means. And the 3070 is already, yes, right now limited by its ram in a few select popular games. that's not something you ignore. the 6700xt 12gb is the winner by default. Doesn't matter if it doesn't effect you. It may. 6700zt users don't need to worry about ram. You do.
