Hi Kamp Kenan, please help me to answer this question. After 31 days at room temperature, you put the eggs into incubator at 86 degrees for how long? Until it hatching? Thank you for your answer 🙏🙏🙏
Hello! My sulcata tortoise lay eggs for the first time today and we don’t have an incubator ready! We are looking for one right now! What I need to do with the eggs while I am looking for the incubator? Thank you so much in advance! Hope to get an answer soon!
Hi , I need your help. I have a female Radiata which laid eggs each month fir 4 months. I would like to ask you if the babies will be able to out from the soil by themselves or must we do something . I am afraid that they lay get stuck into the soil.i live in Mauritius , it's a tropical island in the indian ocean. Parrick
Emily from Snake Discovery did an experiment between perlite and vermiculite, to determine if they mattered when placing eggs in nest boxes (if she got more hatched eggs using one or the other). The result was that it didn’t matte, though she did say the perlite was easier to get off her hands and the eggs. Pat
My radiated tortoise just laid eggs and I'm looking to this video for advice. What is in that tupperware container (the stuff under the eggs at 6:32)??? Help please :)
Could this handling be used for russian tortoises also? Did you put liquid in the box before you incubate or is dishes of water in the incubator enough?
I absolutely love your channel man and I would love it if I could see some more videos of you feeding all your animals and collecting eggs....but I would also love to some amphibians and son fish in your channel it could be a cool thing to add to your channel I will always love your channel either way but keep up the work man
Hi ! Since the sex of tortoises depends of the incubation temperature, how do you choose the temperature of your incubator to avoid hatching one sex only ?
Can someone tell if is it ok to put brothers and sisters tortoises together! Is it posible brother and sister to mate and someting bad hapen to the babys?
I’ve never followed sports, never been very athletic. I took P.E. and Ag. but OMG I love watching my kids play and youth sports in general. The kids just have fun playing with their friends and learn good skills to work as a team(if they don’t have crazy sports parents). The only rule I have is if you sign up that season you have to finish it, no quitting during a season. If you don’t like it just don’t sign up next year.
you can really tell he hates when the camera guy asks him anything. I've noticed this in other videos. He likes it whenever he talks and decides what to say vers someone else talking or making him talk about other things.
I would feel bad digging the eggs up after the mother has worked so hard build a nest, but yeah absolutely thier best chance of hatchling out. Learning about tortoises and there specific environmental requirements really brings it home to me just how delicate nature is. Everyone needs to understand this quick.
Put up some scare crow birds. Big plastic eagle that the wind moves over the top of them should get rid of the nasty crows. We use them to keep all kinds of birds off buildings and boats up here in the north. A good Yard Dog will keep them out but not sure a dog would not dig up the holes to get the eggs. A pellet gun and feed Kile's crocks, I am sure they would eat them.
Tim Baker in some aspects yes but that's where he will get all the viewers. Once tv-goers find out He had a RU-vid channel he can make a lot of money of old videos
