What a great show, great vid! When it went inverted and pulled vertical and you see the contrail from the tail...awesome. Never seen that before from any jet demo. Coming from a yank, Europe did a great job with this bird, I’m a big fan. BTW watch this with headphones turned way up, it’s a treat.
I must have missed this. What an absolutely fantastic piece of filming Elwyn and what an absolutely fantastic aircraft. This is the best Typhoon video I have ever seen. The way you captured this is wonderful.

Now this is genuine maneuverability that is essential for real combat. It’s not the go low and slow pulling high bleed maneuvers that will make the aircraft a sitting target like the crap you will find Su and Migs perform.
That was flying over our way on Friday, I suppose filming air-to-airs, in formation with two Wildcats (the new name for the Lynx). Quite impressive how slowly it could fly since the speed of the formation was about 130 knots. And guess what the camera plane was! A Short Skyvan! yes it's true!
I miss the Shorts Skyvan. A classic interceptor design without which the US could not have defended its west coast from Vietnamese Mig 15s during the Vietnam war.
I detest the American overwork of the word awesome and resolve never to use it!......however,there is only one word to describe this display and Elwyn's filming....AWESOME!
I don't think you know what your talking about for starters, video never does audio any justice, you feel the ground shake as it passes you from the sheer vibration of the noise any louder and it will deafen you and no.2 the euro fighter is built for speed and power... goes faster than most its rivals.
The Rafale and the Typhoon are closely matched - the Rafale has a slight edge in instant turn rate whilst the Typhoon is quite a bit better at sustaining high-g turns. The Typhoon is also much faster due to its more powerful engines (intended to become even more powerful in the near future, too). However, you will never really see the full potential of either plane at airshows - once in a dogfight, that's when they'll pull out all the stops.
The Rafale enjoys a very great lift in lower atmosphere which makes it very agile at low altitudes, comparably to Typhoon. The design of the Typhoon is optimised for anything above 10,000 feet, nothing beats him there.
The Eurofighter edges the Rafale in all departments when it comes to performance. The Rafale however can land on Aircraft Carriers and can carry a tactical nuke + it's a little cheaper.
So manouverable at very high speed. Compared with this the F 35 is a flying bathtub. And the guy who filmed this sure knows how to handle a camera. Amazing job!
The Typhoon has been described by the pilots who fly it as " An absolute animal " American pilots who've been lucky enough to fly a Typhoon have been heard saying they " Hope they never come up against one in a dogfight " Russian pilots are frightened to death of it !!! These words have come from Pilots mouths & are NOT my opinions.
if only Canada or the UK let Ukraine capture an F18 or EF2000 for the ghost of Kyiv a much better plane and be like we ventured too close Kyiv air ministry captured are plane "c'est la vie"
Eurofighter , Rafale , Su-35 , Gripen , are military jets which not afraid to use one maneuver after another continuously, while the Fail-35 Slowpoke *is ''flying'' 1 minute to use barely only one weak maneuver* , yet the Fail-35tards somehow are in the illusion world thinking that the Fail-35 is maneuverable. THESE are maneuvers ! From Su-35 , Su-30SM , PAK FA , Rafale , Eurofighter , F-16 , F-15 , Mirage 2000 , J-20 and Gripen. Not the hot air balloon dare to appear at Le Bourget.
Sérieusement plus je voit la vidéo plus j'ai honte de cet avions !!! Bref les armées inutiles achèteront un avions inutiles !!! Rafale descendrais cet avions en une minutes !! Et je suis gentil !!!
