Above the spectacular paint scheme of this Typhoon kudos to this pilot for his amazing flight control skills. It's easy to hit the burner and go like crazy while turning tight. Another thing is flying slow and controlled in a latest generation fighter. This very few pilots attain that level of skill. This pilot is just one. Amazing air display.
Surface area on the bottom of the fighter helps immensely for low & slow. Vs a f14 or even a hornet would take more hand movements and controls/gestures and concentration
Two best parts in this video for me 1. The paint job (obviously) 2. The landing! Amazing aircraft control skills and excellent judgement. I've read that pilots have much better 3-D awareness and mental mapping abilities. Guess it shows in these maneuvers ☺

So the Airshow people thought - lets get one of the best fighters in the World to display and to make it really great lets play some rock music ! Really ? I would rather hear the aircraft. music is not needed at all.
Its ridiculous isnt it? Its like the new electric cars compared to the old F1 cars. The engineering sounds makes your hairs stand up. Ive seen this plane live and when it comes towards you theres is a few seconds where you cant hear it for some reason and then boom your ears recoil at the goodness knows what decibel onslaught as it passes you!
@@betterthantelly2993 The reason why is because the jet is getting close to supersonic speeds (on some passes) so the sound is trying to keep up for the speed of the jet.
I was there in 2018. It was the first time for me seeing (and hearing) a Typhoon taking off from such a close distance to the runway. If you don´t have experienced it live, you can´t imagine how unbelievable loud the Typhoon is. So don´t worry, the music realy has been no problem. In fact, it was impossible to here it anymore as soon as the Eurofighter kicked in the afterburners. Btw. that has also been the reason they played music at all, instead of commenting the display. There was just no chance to understand a single word anymore.

@@19730116 Dream ON. Luftwaffe got absolutely leathered in the Battle of Britain. If they were so great then how did so many thousands of tonnes of incendiary bombs make it to Dresden?? You'll do well to learn some history.
@@fcbapfel They were not outnumbered. They had more than enough aircraft. Germany had 6 years of building aircraft and preparing for war on their neighbours whereas the Brits had ONE YEAR by the time of BoB. As for Dresden most of the bomber crews didn't get back but at least they landed one in the arse on the Germans. The 2nd World war showed how the different psyche and culture of the Brits alone was in itself another battle to overcome. You sound like a butt hurt German.
We saw a bit of what a Typhoon can do, he lost the cameraman , for obvious reasons we don’t see all the moves. I just love this aeroplane, huge amount of brainpower, great engineers involved , it’s a knockout job, love to see them with the sport uprated engines, which they’ve made.👍👍👍
Ya I think that the Stardrive Eurofighter has impressed Germany with its blend of High performance , advanced technologies and superb good looks. Noch ein par Schubvechtordüsen dran und die Typhoon macht loopings in einer Telefonzelle . Ein ernst zu nehmendes Kampflugzeug . Eine gute Vorführung . Das Video ist toll gefilmt .
ja die vector dinger wären schon krass. allerdings kann man damit sehr leicht im luftkampf "sich selber abschießen". man verliert sehr viel energie mit den vectoren. genau so wie mit dem kobramanöver... macht eine su 27 ein kobramanöver, schon ist sie sehr langsam und ein langsamer jet ist ein toter jet... aber cool sind die dinger aufjedenfall
Leider Verpasst, nachdem man die Tore am Westeingang erst mit einer Stunde Verzögerung geöffnet hatte und wir 2,5 Stunden in der Warteschlange standen...dämlicherweise war der Slot für die Patroulla Aguilla auch am Anfang der Show...war megaschlecht organisiert der Einlass...zum Teil sind Leute umgekippt...ein Spanier der extra wegen seiner Staffel angereist war hat sogar geweint und war sauer...danke für das tolle Video..
Not going to lie, the Tiger Meet produces some awesome aircraft paintjobs. I loved the old Luftwaffe Tornado jobs. The new stealth fighters look neat and all but I'll bet the stealth paint won't let you do anything half as cool as this in case you need to paint over it in a hurry.
EJ200's, designed for performance, power, acceleration etc but nothing in the design spec for noise supression..lol . Two where above me at about 2500ft and doing dogfight maneuvers and when the burners lit I literally could not hear the person stood next to me talk. Awesome though...
Wie kann man zu diesen schönen Sound des Typoon, den ich hören möchte, Musik einspielen????????? Der Sound des Eurofighters ist die Musik, der Klang von 90 KN oder geballten 158.000 PS. Für sowas fahren Hunderttausende Menschen zur Airpower.

Toll eingefangen klasse Design! Daumen hoch für's zeigen. Wie mein Vorredner die Musik muß nicht sein, der Klang der Triebwerke ist doch bestimmt das was jeder dort hören will! 😎
Vielen Dank für das Lob! Mit der Musik hast du natürlich recht. In dem Fall kam sie aber aus den Lautsprechern vor Ort. Ist leider eine Unsitte geworden auf vielen Airshows. :/
Ja, das ist mir bewußt das du die Musik nicht eingespielt hast! ;-) Habe auch ein Video von der ILA mit ner MIG 21 nur die Musik ist manchmal lauter als das Flugzeug selber!! Furchtbar!! :-(
Sorry, habe ich aus deinem Kommentar nicht so herausgelesen. Auf welcher ILA flog denn die MiG-21? Bin seit 1998 dort, habe aber noch keine fliegen sehen.
Fantastisches Video mit dem bayerischen Ghost Tiger!!! Deine Position war ja wie geschaffen für das Display, mehrmals konnte man im Video den Eufi von oben sehen incl. tollem Sonnenlicht!!! Daumen hoch Olli ;)
Herzlichen Dank für das Lob, Martin! Der Ghost Tiger gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Tolle Lackierung bzw. Folierung. War selbst überrascht das mir die (Freihand) Aufnahmen so gut gelungen sind. Hätte ich mit Stativ nicht viel besser hinbekommen. ;)

KNIGHT FLIGHT VIDEO eventuell werde ich hinfahren, wenn es zeitlich möglich ist. Wäre dann natürlich nicht schlecht wenn der ghost tiger da wäre. Halte es aber auch für möglich das wieder ein Eurofighter aus Wittmund rüber fliegt und dort ein Display zeigt und wieder zurück fliegt, so war es letztes Jahr in Faßberg gewesen. Da sind auf den Samstag 2x eufis und tornado aus Wittmund rüber geflogen für displays.
Wenn ich das nächste mal auf der ILA bin muss ich unbedingt daran denken bei so einer Vorführung vom Verstärker den Stecker zu ziehen... Ich liebe AC/DC ….. aber … was soll das.. XD
The aircraft paint scheme looked great. The rolls looked untidy. Looked like the aircraft was flying a corkscrew rather than an axis roll each time. Maybe it was supposed to look like that to disguise the true roll rate and performance?
So you spend billions making weapons like this to defend your freedom and yet. Your cowering in you houses scared as your economy and way of life is utterly destroyed. Open your eyes
why do they need to play that rock music? the sound of the plane and those after burners is better than any rock track...and that's from a hard rock fan!
Geht so. Da habe ich von Piloten anderer Luftwaffen schon spektakulärere Displays gesehen. Vielleicht dürfen die Piloten der BW aber auch nicht so richtig zeigen, was der Vogel kann. ;-)
