The Exocet has been one of the most impressive anti-ship missiles ever made as both the British and American navies can attest. The Rafale is, along with the F-16, one of the most attractive fighters of the modern era. No question but that the French no how to build impressive things!

I am sure that a lot of people have seen and noticed that the planes seen at 5:34 are actually Mirage 2000( the 2seater is probably a D variant ). Anyway thank you Millennium 7* for your time and effort to produce so high quality videos.

You can't beat the french in designing delta wing aircraft.

As much as I love the F-18 for it's versatility and capability, it would be awesome to see Rafales flying off US flattops; and I don't just mean when the French Navy is doing international/interservice training on US carriers. The Rafale is just so pretty and has shown to have the multi role capability required.

Great videos. But If I may. Thrust to weight ratio from empty weight to maximum take off weight. Rafale C: 1.49 - 0.62 F-35A: 1.48 - 0.61 Rafale M 1.45 - 0.62 F-35C 1.24 - 0.61 Its important to note that T/W ratio is a very incomplete variable. Aero engineers use a more useful metric called specific excess power which is: (T/W-D/W)V The F-35 with it's internal weapon's bays are excellent in this metric as internal weapons add no drag at all. I'm not saying the F-35 is better or worse. I just wanted to add a few things that some people may find interesting. Liked and subscribed

Do you have any interest in infantry tactics and equipment?What i was thinking of is modern battlefield communications and imaging systems, countermeasures and counter countermeasures. Also could you do a video on SEAD supression of enemy air defences and countermeasures to SEAD. Perhaps you have touched on this before?

You said in the video that Rafale can supercruise at mach 1.4 in clean config,but I read in a post of Rafale it shows this aircraft can supercruise with 4 missiles and a belly drop tank.People just doubt the ability of 2 m88,it seems not possible to supercruise with all that weapen.What do you think about this Sir?

Not correct! Supercruise is flying supersonic a useful range with a useful weapons load. Gripen do this at M1.2+ with 6missiles and centertank. If Rafale can supercruise, it's slower. Gripen E MTOW is 165000 kg.

No issues with Rafale. Its just too expensive and only designed for french weaponry also too expensive and scarce to find

Rafale is certainly an excellent aircraft. But please stop claiming "roughly the same as the Eurofighter" when it isn't true. Rafale's longer range (which hasn't been required by any Typhoon customer, by the way) comes from its larger external tanks and SIGNIFICANTLY (10%) lower T/W ratio. Likewise, Mach 1.4 is significantly lower than Typhoon's Mach 1.6 super cruise speed. Fighter design is about compromises: Bloch simply made slightly different compromises to the teams at BAe, MBB, Aeritalia and CASA, because the Panavia partners already had an outstanding long range strike fighter in Tornado, while France really did not.

However Argentine was flying over 200 French aircraft Dassault Mirage and they lost the air war to 20 British Harriers, being beaten 10 to 1 is not good. Probably best off not putting that in the sales material for any French fighter aircraft.

Damn they are sexy planes. The Australian ADF always loved French technology. Only problem is that their support standard is worse than the worst. E.g. we converted to their attack Eurocopter helicopter. Almost all were grounded within 6 months due to a multitude of defects. The biggest joke is that years later many are still grounded due to the cabin filling with CO2 and smoke. This was found to be a defective a/c hose that Australian pilots figured out from investigations. Licensing requirements would not allow us to repair them and 5 years later more than half the fleet are still grounded. Even the French politicians had enough so we are upgrading to Apaches with the Viper/Cobra and Mongoose as a backup. This bad support reputation is the biggest reason why Aus cancelled the submarine contract. The French deserved it due to their blatant arrogance.

Not correct facts! Gripen E supercruise in M 1,2+ with 6 missiles and center tank. It's a little slower than M1.4. but with weapons and center tank, Rafale will be slower yet. So facts show us that Gripen E have quicker super cruise than Rafale. T/W with fuel for 1000 km and 1000 kg of weapons is 0.91 for Gripen E and 0.81for Rafale. Facts: Gripen E have higher T/W than Rafale in AA combat. Given the lower drag of Gripen and the fact that nominal power - drag=available power give the fact: Gripen E have substantial better available T/W available for combat and interception, than Rafale.

Do you know that there are more people that understand English than just native speakers from the anglo-saxon world? So a lot of people can watch your videos, including the French who are tired of French bashing and its corollaries. This being said what do you mean with your picture of French "baguettes" as an introduction to a subject related to a French aircraft? I presume you try to be witty but it's just a joke in poor taste. What would you have shown if you were talking about a German product for instance? Interesting question, isn't it? So I stop here, it's not worth going any further.
