We got a call for a Toyota Sienna minivan (white lightning) stuck in the sand.
They were on their way to go camping at Zion Luxury Camping.
They had driven all night and were so close to making it!
Super fun high energy bunch!
Next we got a call for a Dodge Durango that was south of the sand dunes in Warner valley.
He was out 4 wheeling, sight seeing and got stuck up in a hill.

What I like about the recovery videos, and others, is this: You aren’t pretentious or narcissistic. You promote your team. You are honest. I have never heard you bad mouth your customer. I got my motorcycle stuck in the sand once. I struggled for 15 minutes just spinning and digging a deeper hole. Finally the wife got off the back and it popped right out on the first try.

I have been following Matt for over a year and have seen almost all of his video's (I ration myself to one per day). But today's recovery was the FIRST TIME I spontaneously yelled at my laptop: "Straighten Out the Front Wheels! Turn the Wheels! Good, Finally!" -- when he was extracting "White Lightening" with the young lady in the driver's seat. Then I realized how foolish it was to do that. I had to laugh at myself. Thanks, Matt, Ed, and Crew for another great video.

Matt - downside to watching your channel with my wife. We are staying there next week (Sept 3-10, 2020) and I mentioned that I wanted to take our 4x4 ram 1500 Eco diesel out to Touquerville falls (sp??) and the first thing she said was - Why don't we find a way to rent Rzr's otherwise you might and up on Matt;s channel... Heck for me- that seems like a a great way to get my 15 minutes of fame!

Chief Bradley hello, I once met a man in the BRITISH VERGIN ISLANDS, his name was BERT KILBRIDE, he found many wrecks in the ocean, 2nof which had ballast way centuries ago, but they were metal, not bricks, had them analysed,,,,,,, PLATINUM go gigure, it was ‘WORTHLESS THEN ‘,,he died only a few years ago, but his sons know where all those wrecks are, we visited only 2 really gone over the years, hit ANEGADA REEF. , Cheers 🇰🇾🇺🇸

@@spaghettimonstersjudgingyo504 Yeah, Fenn's treasure cost 4 people their lives in the 10 years it was out there hidden. I'm not a treasure hunter, but I got interested in it from watching an Expedition Unknown episode years ago with my kids. It was fun to try and decipher the clues in his poem, but we never went looking or anything. I wanted to plan a family trip to Yellowstone and kind of use the treasure hunt as a theme, but just really go there and camp and see nature, etc. May still do the trip, maybe we can find "the spot" anyway, would still be fun =)

I had a friend in high school who got high centered in the snow in the middle of the road. She got out of the car to look and left it in gear, and the door shut and locked her out. The tires were just sitting there spinning in place. Her dad was so confused when he got there. 😂

@@brianboehmer43 I saw a woman get stuck in the snow across the street from my old house as she was exiting an alley. She also got out of the car with it in gear and locked the door out of habit. She was not high centered, just sitting on ice with bad tires. She sent me a nice card for breaking into her car :) Moral of the story: always have the keys in your hand when you lock the door.

Yeah I'm like Ed. When I go way out into the countryside I can't help but think about what it may have been like having to make your own way with just a horse and buggy. Here in the majority of Texas it's the mesquite trees that form a thick wall.

The first bunch was mighty cheery for the predicament they were in. We'll find him, Maybe! Love your commentary Mr. Ed! WOWZERS, the man walked ALL that way. Matt, Great job you got. Ok when a kid misself got stuck plenty times. Could not afford a 4WD. You have no idea where i went with my front WD Renault.Older now have been stuck with the best of toyotas 4 WD. Even with 40 years off hunting and fishing and trailing, You will get stuck. Harder now geting stuck , but when you want to get over the next ridge or bend in the road because it´s there and you need to know whats over there , you will get stuck. Keep it up and teach yungsters how it´s done

I would find my way into the woods with about every car.I owned, I once tried to go through a big mud hole filled with water, some of that mucky stuff. Was in a 75 chevy vega wagon. Didn't make it, the hood went under water. That's the day the vega died, lol...

Most of the time just lowering the tire pressure will do the job without tire damage or getting stuck. In general around 15 psi in sand +/- and harder serface around 25 psi +/-

surely there was enough people there to get the minivan out without having to call for a tow. A little digging and a little pushing goes a long way. Coulda dug out a bit behind and in front of front wheels, rocked the van back and forth till it was on top of the sand at the front of the hole. Then you put it in reverse and channel your inner Ed into your right foot (within reason)
